- Tornado sirens go off regularly here in my small Louisiana town, but rarely do we see the reality of what a huge Tornado's true power is... In just minutes, my entire town was destroyed.

This video gives me flashbacks. My entire town went through the eye of Hurricane Michael while it was a Category 5. Callaway, FL. The entire town is still mostly destroyed and it's 6 months later.

@@RamitKhanna_ Electricity wants to go to the ground, it won't travel upwards if it can go downwards. And cars are made to withstand lightning strikes, so just don't touch anything metal and go through the line.

It is after the tornado. If you don't live in the tornado alley you don't know anything about tornadoes. After a tornado passes another one can form but the chance of it is very slight. Once the tornado has passed there is no tornado warning.

There are plenty of resources to educate yourself with. Just because someone lives where tornadoes are more likely to form doesn’t mean they’re more knowledgeable on the topic. Hey bro I feel your pain. I live in Moore, OK and if you know we had an F5, mile wide tornado in 2013 and it wiped out the entire town. It missed our house by about half a mile and it was the scariest thing I’ve ever experienced.

In Colorado that had happened in a matter of 8hours a yearish ago,it was a cold night got to 36 Fahrenheit, then at around 2in the after noon a thunder storm came through , it was around 58 during the thunder storm and then it was sunny , this was from I would say 6in the morning till around 3in the afternoon, where I live the weather can be crazy,snow thunderstorms and sunny weather in one day, one place in Colorado can average around this time of year a 20-45degree difference from night to day,the only thing we don’t have is hurricanes unless you count Reminence of one

@@TheArt4M I had to stop watching. I live in Oklahoma, the birthplace of tornadoes. The aftermath of these mighty storms can be quite horrific, and where property is destroyed, in the very least, you worry about the financial impact ... and then the very most, loss of life. These are grown men who drove around town to rubberneck, and not once did I EVER hear any concern for anyone affected by the tornado. My first thought when I saw the destroyed gas station was "I hope no one was working that night." It never once dawned on any of them to roll down their windows while driving around and ask people who were obviously shaken, standing out in the street, if they were okay or needed help. As my daughter would say, "those are the kind of people that make Americans look bad."

As a daughter of a first responder, I think seeing the young so insensitive to it and putting themselves is a real worry. First responders have enough to cope with during times like this. Directly after this people go out exploring and cause issues. The fact they are laughing isn’t a coping mechanism it’s them finding it amusing. And if everyone said “it’s not my job to check on people” nobody would be a good neighbor.
They’re quite young, and things may not have sinked in until morning. And yes laughing is a form of coping with things, plus it’s an adventure so in your mind it’s an adventure . Also at night people can be more hyper. I see nothing really disturbing by how they were because this is something they have never been through and at the time they only knew that they were curious, in which that’s natural in humans..oh and causes people to be excited.

Tornado damage is just heartbreaking, whether you see it first hand or through media. It's painful to see the lives of thousands upon thousands changed forever by something so violent yet so intriguing.
Though I'm not a believer, I sincerely hope the best for both you, your friends, and the residents of the city you live in.

I think this is the same system that hit 5 miles from my house. I went out there leaving drill early and worked for about a week. I got there so fast that I was put on a search and rescue team. I'll spare the details but needless to say that was the worst day of my life. God bless y'all.

It may not have been a huge tornado, size wise, but it was rated an ef3 by the National Weather Service, so it still packed a hell of a punch.

I live in Florida and the last hurricane we had I was driving around in my truck and people were sitting around because of fallen trees on the road long story short I drive straight over every tree in my way

There are two types of people after a tornado or hurricane: those who are excited and want to see all the destroyed stuff cause it’s cool, and those who get mad over it and don’t find it interesting.

@@drippinicecream1365 Luckily we haven't had any direct hits recently in my area but a couple years ago we had a close call while I was in the movie theater in the town next to where I live and there was a confirmed funnel that hit the high school. Fortunately the extent of the damage was knocked out glass and power lines. But still it was a night tornado and them things are very hard to see!

You shouldn't cross downed power lines, as the lines could still be energized and the surrounding wet area ground/air can also be energized.
Brings risk to the vehicle as water could also hold the energy on the car: short-out the electrical components, fire under the hood, etc.
If the power line falls on top of your vehicle and you are in the vehicle, stay in the vehicle and call emergency services. The convenience is not worth the risk.
YoDrood tires are made of rubber so you should be fine if you cross over them but anything can happen like you said with the surrounding energized area

They are rubber but I guess y'all haven't heard of "arcs" where energized areas are a good place to creat arcs with a ground. (Underside of any vehicle that isn't plastic covered completely is a excellent ground)
Well 9 times out of 10 the power would've been cut. Although that means 1/10 it could be.
People need to know that pretty much anything can conduct electricity if there's enough of it, and a few mm of rubber in a tyre won't always save you.
