The Plus Levels offer a completely fresh experience by changing the main gimmick to something a little different, and It's literally a continuation of the main story, so I would definitely recommend doing them.
If you wanna 100% the game, you also need to gold star the Expert Levels and everything else. Time Attack is completely optional.
I think a lot of people would like to watch you 100% the game, after that you could also still ask if people want to see the time attacks, personally, I think that would be cool to watch too.

The plus levels are required to get the true ending to the game. And they change the gameplay style with the Mini Mario’s as they utilize keys to beat

This game looks downright rage inducing, i've been watching Zack for many years and there aren't many times i recall him getting legit angry while playing so if this game can trigger him then i'd end up throwing my controller across the room, lol i think i'll pass on playing this one, if they had just left out the time limit thing it wouldn't be so bad.
