Cannon will affect the max effectiveness if this matters to you. Continue to do this process except with a catapult and you’ll get max effectiveness.

@@MrChefRat as a rule of thumb I always try to go for the highest taming efficiency possible especially on these guys cuz they can hold two ankys for double the metal gather speed which is fun till the run out of weight but full effectiveness helps with this

2nd tip to it some private servers like mts you can't pick up the cannon so if you put it In a tent and later you can pick up the tent and the cannon

It does have a size limit can't net Gigas, or anything bigger than a rex I'm pretty sure. I don't even think you can net a rex. However you can netgun a lot of stuff such as the quetz. Definitely op

This is not the most efficent way, use catapult not cannon and you won't lose taming effectiveness.

@@christopherbennett8852 You litterally have to do the same things what was in the video, except use catapult. You can knock the karkinos just as easy as this method. I think it is worth it. Also I think therr is a big difference between 100% taming effect and 58% taming effect.

Pretty cool. I tried like 5 times in aberration and gave up.
#1 magically got out of a trap 3 times as tall as it
#2 died by catapult…low lvs spawns and with a few hits it is too low to either tame it or heal it before torpor
#3 pinned by an insane amount pillars and nicely exposed to get perfect hits….with an earthquake and 360s it floated out
Dododex says cannon but no. one hit kill shots everytime on low levels
Mostly pve in my private server so…not really good reasons for putting this much time in it.
