    What a great sound especially when you add some nifty lead breaks. It worked so well for Page in the film The Song Remains the Same and it certainly works well for you Marty!

    Yeeaah man, mega cool...I lurve the Theremin, instantly adds "spy break" and that cool 60's/70's vibe ...There is a cool band called Slift, European lads...French I think, they have a great sound, not ripping leads like 80's rock but still huge and killer with a retro vibe

    I’ve kinda wanted one of these since Joe Bonamassa brought them back to the guitar front awhile back. Mainly for an original song but didn’t want to spend the money on the Moog for one song ? Thanks for sharing that there is a “budget” model….as well as your set up 🎸

    I like the simple studio setup.
    it’s funny how you’ve got some great amps, but nowadays you can get a great sound plugged-in directly. technology has made a lot of things easier

    • @Ranch5150SkinWalker
      @Ranch5150SkinWalker  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s so true, technology has made not so easy. I play live with my amps and practice with them a lot. But for recording and TH-cam, you really can’t beat the technology. Also some gigs I just use my fractal and In ears. It’s wonderful. But I love a big amp the best!!

  • @michaeldineenSG2018
    @michaeldineenSG2018 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I've just started playing again. Why does it have to be so complicated these setups with so many effects .I could never put anything together like that. I need to try to find a mean sound without so many extra attachments

    • @standingvertical3048
      @standingvertical3048 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great pickups in your guitar, and a great hard driving tube amp, or solid state, which ever your ear likes. Then start killing the creeping things that crawl by turning it up to 10.

    • @standingvertical3048
      @standingvertical3048 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Think of Angus, Gibson plugged straight into a Marshall. That's pretty Mean.

      Live I just use a nice gain amp with delay. Maybe a wah. Simple!

  • @allboutthemojo
    @allboutthemojo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Love that device. Risk is getting kicked out of the house, neighbors calling the cops or the house turns into Jimanji style animal gathering 🤣
    Do you have a video on your axe 8 floorboard modeler? Wanted to know if you run into dsp overload issues if the signal chain has too many power hungry effects or if there's any delay / pause when you switch presets in the middle of a song?

    • @Ranch5150SkinWalker
      @Ranch5150SkinWalker  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeh man! Thanks for the comment!
      The Fractal won’t allow you to overload or add too many FX so no issues there. It has scenes you can save per patch so you can change sounds pretty seamless within the same patch with a different scene. But if you hard switch to another preset there is a delay. 👍

    • @allboutthemojo
      @allboutthemojo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Ranch5150SkinWalker thanks for the reply. Been considering a modeler with FRFR speakers to simplify things as I'm not a pro but very confused about what to buy . Need a unit that sounds decent ( doesn't have to be perfect) but want it to be relatively small and most importantly easy to set up ( program via the UI) tones of different artists. Axe might be too expensive. Have you used anything more budget that you can suggest?
