remove slimline trans

How to remove the transmission in an assembled 7 mm pen kit. Shown is the slimline, but most 7 mm are the same.

Good information. So far, I haven't had to remove a transmission but good to know the technique. When I do use the punches and a hammer, I wrap a piece of bike inner tube around the pen body for a good grip.
