Thank you Mr. Neve for helping me apply a little science to what i have felt my entire life. I have often wondered why i prefer records produced in the sixty's and seventy's over later productions. I can equate this to when i studied logic in college and how that transformed the way i view critical thinking.... and television commercials!
It has only been in the last few days that i have discovered your lectures. As i have been relatively inactive in music recording over the last eight years or so, and am now re-training my ears, i consider why something sounds good as most important.
Music has been a huge part of my life from my earliest memory. Having been raised in a musical family i am truly blessed with being able to perform and record with my father, my older brothers and many great friends.
