Did you scan for codes? The car in the video had a ruptured turbo hose.

Yes, that could certainly be the case.

Check the intake system with a smoke tester. Often the maf sensor isn't the problem and 'false' air is getting in the system somewhere after the maf sensor. Maybe you have the same leak.
