- As of March 14th 2020, this is how our theme parks around the world are reacting to the outbreak. This video will serve as a historical snapshot of the time that all Universal, SeaWorld, Six Flags and Disney parks were closed.

It sucks that the parks and everything are closed but its for the best. I'm not really worried about the virus myself and its not gonna stop me from living my life, but we need to be safe and please please wash your hands properly and cover your mouth when you cough/sneeze
I'm a cleaning crew that cleans buildings and I put gloves on when I'm working cleaning and when I'm done I was my hands I don't let this coronavirus get in my way cause some people workout take care of there body and everything will be fine some people don't even wash there hands when there in the bathrooms

4:57 My heart sank to the bottom of the Ocean . Despite all the horrible events happening with the virus, I never knew how it would feel to be restricted from the only place that makes me happy. I was gonna go for my birthday in a few weeks but they are saying Disneyland (California) is expected to be closed for longer. I can’t comprehend how the only place that makes me really happy , can’t make me happy at such a dark time. I hope and pray everyday this is just a horrible nightmare and I’m just gonna wake up any moment and everything is gonna be the way as it should be. Life really isn’t fair .

@@MultiBrilliant1 You could see the closure of Disneyland Paris coming, though. In the course of a couple of weeks they had castmembers in isolation, then castmembers being confirmed to have COVID-19, the face character meetings (non masked, such as princesses) were cancelled and then the outdoor shows and parades were cancelled effectively cancelling the Frozen and Star Wars seasons, plus the 100 people cap placed on indoor venues (heavily problematic for theatre shows and Studios's entrance building). Not to mention neighboring country Italy rapidly taking over from China as the COVID-19 hotzone.
@@EspenSGX oh, so it was done gradually? Here in Hong Kong the closure was announced as a firm date (Feb. 7) to coordinate with the closure of all performing arts venues - since Hong Kong Disneyland's partner is the Hong Kong government, which also operates all the major concert halls, theatres, stadiums, museums and art galleries. Ocean Park is semi-subsidised by the government, and it also closed within the same week.
I can totally understand why they are closing or have closed, It is the right thing to do and yes it is going to impact a lot of people but the alternative could be a lot worse

I go to Disney World, Orlando every year and it’s like a happy place for me but since they had to shut down it’s like my happy place was just in my mind when the Disney parks are fantasy themed like it is like everyone who goes are at their own world
I live in Italy, and all the parks close them a few months every year, regardless of the virus :(

While the parks aren’t open, that doesn’t mean they have nothing to do. There are probably still jobs that need to be done.

All UK theme parks remain open as enforced closures would mean the parks would be able to claim insurance. The British Prime Minister is culling lives for economic stability. Our schools also remain open. Disgraceful.
