I feel like this episode and with these guys retiring it’s kind of reflected my playtime and love for Siege. To me, I’ve moved on and the game isn’t what I used to see it as. It’s us older guard stepping down for the newer players
As much as I want to get angry at Ubi for all the false promises and changes to what was once a beautiful game, I see my younger brother enjoying it the way it is now with the same excitement i once felt during skull rain and velvet shell, 2016-2017 were the golden years for this game, truly the best times I've ever had in gaming, but a man cant step into the same river twice. time to move on boys
If/ when Fabian retires... I pray and hope for a charity rematch of the old EG roster Vs the old Penta roster... That game where Penta came back from 2-0 was the best eSports experience I've ever had

This is the thing regarding more personalities in siege. If you going to get warnings fines or banned eg. Doki. Why would a player caster content creator even bother? I must of watched the clip of Troy geo 5 times it's hilarious. But if you constantly have to watch what your saying because it may offend somebody your never going to get personalities
wish them all the best. i would actually be sad if our God Emperor actually disappears after his contract expires, gonna miss his interviews, although its been a while since we've had them
only thing i hate abt the new pick during drone phase is u can see what site they are and completely mold ur attack over it. on con especially therm is only useful on garage but teams still have to play therm just incase they go there. one of the main reasons archives and lobby id so powerful is that it needs a different attack lineup to clear. and now that attack can just see what site they are they can mold their lineup perfectly which will make more sites unplayable
I think one of the best examples in esports of competitive fire would have to Sébastien "Ceb" Debs from OG's Dota 2 roster. The man was a mediocre and underperforming pro player from like 2011-2015, playing on a tonne of stacks and tier 2 and tier 3 teams. After he stepped back from being a pro he started working as a desk analyst and quickly became one of the best and most respected analysts in the scene. Yet for him, it felt like his career was freewheeling. Then, in 2016 he was approached by OG, one of Dota's best teams, to be their coach. And as their coach he helped led them to four Valve Major wins, more than any other team at that period of time (thought the organisation always fell short at TI). Moving forward to 2018, OG has begun to flounder, massively underperforming throughout the year, and then, three months before TI, the team's Captain, and one of the organisation's founders leaves with another one of the team's players, leaving OG in a situation where they need to rebuild and then win the open qualifiers to even make it to TI. The team picks up a couple of new players, and Ceb, formally their coach, steps in to play for the team in the Offlane position. The team wins the open qualifiers, yet they are ranked as the 18th best team at the event. That doesn't matter to OG and Ceb, they're at TI, they're there to win. And win they do, beating all the odds. And guess what? They then did it again the year after, the same five players, the first team ever to win TI twice, and back-to-back at that.
Update: So... Fabian came back as a coach on G2 and won his 3rd SI. Troy came back to IGL and is still to this day, and Fabian went back to the desk as an analyst and then Both Pengu and Fabian are with PSG Talon (Korean team) as Content Creator and Coach respectively.
The sad reality of the game rn. The game so different everyone keep saying that they miss old siege. There are just too many things and considerations you need to take into account when playing which kills the fun and it's prob even worse for solo players just trying to chill.
