For the test server- For Honor actually did something that I think would benefit Siege a lot. Last year they made it so you don't have to download the test server in FH, it was just included in the game as an event and you didn't have to download the game twice in order to play it. That's the biggest thing imo that puts everyone from going on the TS. As I'm typing it out Dizzle mentioned it and yeah. I think it's very important.

1:21:45 about map advantage. I feel like giving a team a whole map is too much. I think you could make it interesting by having the finals maps be picked and winners bracket gets to choose first.
Great podcast.. sad that the event was postponed. Great group of guys who love Siege. Good job! I bought 2 copies of siege, both were like 15 bucks on a sale. I've been playing since Op Health. I haven't spent any other money on the game because I cannot justify spending 50+USD for 1 or 2 skins. But if it was 15 or 20 per skin, I most likely would've bought some and actually spent money.
I think with the 1 map advantage thing, it can introduce an element of "strategic throwing" specifically in the semi's.... say for example TSM is in lower bracket and G2 is in upper, you're against BDS.... you can decide to win in order to face G2, or throw the match and face TSM, if you've already played TSM and know that you've played much better than them in the past, you just throw and face them because there is no incentive of the one map advantage stopping you.... The one map advantage makes it so that you're competing to get the highest chance of winning, not competing to just GET to the finals. I would say it's unlikely however strategic throwing has happened in the past... so I think it could be very possible.
I haven't spent a SINGLE renown since sometime in year 3. I'm hoarding it for when they rework alpha packs or the storefront. The mtx system in this game is horseshit
I just hoard my renown for event packs. I don't think they'll ever rework the mtx system so imo it's better to just gamble at the chance of getting a limited time skin. So far I have 2 full skins from last year's halloween and 2 from grand larceny so it's pretty good
I really hope the devs/UBI actually watches this and ponders on the ideas that 5 of them threw out there in revenue and making the gameplay for the competitive scene better, especially when dizzle I think it was made the point about how CSGO and leagues longevity. You know why Ubisoft doesn't bring incentives to the TS? Because if people started to play it and gave more feedback and their opinions they still wouldn't listen. Because we talk about how the problem is that no one plays the TS, but even if we did just like right now Ubisoft wouldn't listen to the majority of the things they are told. We give them enough feedback already in many areas, but is it taken into account?
