I don’t know how many women you have who watch your videos but I love western boots so I enjoy your content. I live in West Texas where everyone wears boots. My absolute favorite boots are my Lucchese’s. Most comfortable boots I own. Most expensive boots, too, but well worth the price. Anyone can wear and enjoy western (cowboy) boots. I’m a 63 year old grandma and I proudly wear my boots!

Hi Valerie! There are a few women who watch but not nearly enough so I'm glad you are here. Luccheses are so comfortable right out of the box and they seem worth the price to me too! You are so right. Thanks for watching! Lots more cowboy boots content on the way!

A lot of people think these boots are really expensive but if you really think about it , it’s worth it. The materials , and work is worth it. I’d rather spend $3,000 on boots rather than spending $3,000 on some sneakers that won’t last a year lol.

Lucchese Classics are the king of boots at retailers. I've got that pair but with the highly desirable Lucchese toe. In fact, I've owned them for a decade now without any flaws. They may set you back a bit but the quality is truly there. You can't go wrong with Lucchese Boots.

Have you reviewed any Black Jack boots? I have three pairs of Lucchese classics and eight pairs of Black Jacks. In my opinion the Black Jack quality is right on par with Lucchese classics and are a much better value! Black Jack boot company was founded by a bunch of Lucchese employee's in the late 90's. Nice review and thanks for sharing!

Bought my 1st pair in Sante Fe New Mexico at the Lucchese store, they measured my foot traced it out etc. I waited 6 weeks weeks for my $1600 pair. Let me say, the rich live good. OMG best shoe I ever ever owned. They shipped them in a nice box. Came with my measurements so If I ever want another pair, etc. I would say to anyone who ever just has a small thought about buying a special shoe/ boot. DO IT!! you only live once. Might as well stand tall and comfortable while doing it.

One of my uncle's, who works at Lucchese, told me that the classics are more expensive because they use the best materials in the business. It might seem like a simple boot but it's not. The construction will make them last forever. That's why it's heavy but once you wear and walk in them they will start to mold to your foot.

It's been almost 40 years ago... I bought my grandfather a pair of Lucchese boots exactly like these... actually I stole some money out of the miscellaneous household expense cash box.... took him down and said, "Pick out any boot you want... " well he picked out this boot... looks to be exactly the same one in goat in the black cherry with the formed piping detailing on the shaft, I believe all Lucchese boot where handmade... actually every one I ever bought was... it was cost no object deal. I tried to get him to pick a more expensive boot but no right from the beginning it was these and they had his perfect 9.5 e size too. He hardly made it a year afterwards and he cherished those boots and the halve dozen wool Pendleton shirts, and belts. My grandmother let my uncle have the boots etc... he wore them until the end of his life too.

Someone suggested I check out double H, or Or another brand. Do you have any suggestions? I definitely want a leather sol I have a couple of pairs that have a ruvver soul, but would prefer a leather one any help/advice you would be willing to give I would greatly greatly appreciate it I look forward to your response thank you in advance for your help

    • @JeremiahCraig
      @JeremiahCraig  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

A steel toe boot with a leather sole might be hard to find. Leather soles don't have as much traction as rubber soles so it isn't a material used in work boots often because on work sites where you need the steel toe you also will need the rubber sole. That said, Double H does have some hybrid soles boots with a piece of rubber in the middle of a leather sole which also has a steel toe but for the most part I don't see leather soles and steel toes paired together often

Hey Jeremiah, i live in the high deserts of California so it get quite hot here. 110°F+ often. When i wear my boots in this heat they get pretty sweaty and wet. Will this rot the inside leather of my boot? How do i dry them? Will the hot arid sun damage them if i sun dry them? Thanks again, really enjoying your content. It's been a whole lot of help.

    • @saleemwaheed9956

Get some unfinished wood shoe trees. They will obsorb the moisture. Air dry them in the shade. No direct sunlight. You want the dry air to dry them, not hot sun rays. Then every so often oil them or put a leather cream on them. Polish if you want that shine!

The leather insoles and vamp lining leather have been developed over more than 1000 years of bootmaking, and cowboy boots specifically for over 130 plus years. Good bootmakers use special pit tanned leather for the insoles and orthopedic goat ,cow or pig skin for vamp liners ( the foot of the boot ) these leathers wick perspiration away from your foot efficiently and dry without getting damaged, even over 30 years of wear. In hot climates I recommend Kangaroo leather vamps and tops. The leather is very light yet VERY tough. Also get 12" or even 10 " inch tops they will be cooler than 14 or 16s !

You can get Lucchese custom made for you with a boot last kept at the factory if you’re willing to pay the price

I bought the Diego classics Ultra caiman boots. Paid 1,900 dls for them, and about 4 months that I have owned them, a split or cut on the leather and I was bummed about it, called Lucchese customer support and I was told they could repair it and put a patch on it for 250 dollars. What a rip off, pay an extra 250 dls for a boot I've only worn less than 15 times? Decided not to fix them and still wore them and another split showed up. Worse 1900 dls ever spent.

I've got to break mine out. The ones I own are made of the same leather but the cording is different. Also, my boots have the Lucchese toe (French toe).

I don’t doubt that boot is extremely nice. Probably a “spiritual” experience wearing them 😂. I feel like if I spent $800+ on a boot I’d be terrified to wear the things. To the point I couldn’t enjoy them

I've tried a few Lucchese boots and some have the inside sole curled up on the sides. At least three of the many books that I've slipped on. I've tried others that the inside were cut too short. These boots felt awesome but the cut was on the outside of the foot toward the small toe and made them unbearable to wear for long periods of time. I ware cowboy boots all the time down here in Texas. I'm still looking for a pair of Lucchese's without having them custom made starting around $2,500 dollars or higher depending on the leather you choose. I did see and held a pair of 15,000 Lucchese's hand made boots made out of baby alligator's. They do make beautiful boots but they ones they sell at Cavender's just don't fit my feet. Maybe these are tier 2 boots from people they are training. I will continue to try them on without having to go to the Lucchese boot store/boutique.

Cut em in half and probe it. Theyre for style, people. Dont think that theyll hold ip just because theyre expensive. A 200-300 dollar pair of ropers will hold up better than these.

My first car was $399 cheap than those
And probably should have been $500 cheaper
