Always cool to here different families logging stories. My family’s history of logging dates back to the early 1900s for me on my mothers side. My grandma started working in the woods in the 1960s running a small dozer skidding for her dad, and helping load trucks by hand. She got out of it for years then started working in the woods again, for my Grandpa in 1993, running the Iron Mule. She did that up until about 5 years ago when she retired and I took her job. Now its just me and my Grandpa running the business, he hand cuts and i skid with the Mule. Even though my grandma is retired she still tries to get out as often as she can and skid (good thing we have 2 mules lol)
