But i was talking about Dancer. Minstrel are mostly useless

Fantasy song is actually pretty good for helping people recover mp when ampr or decoy is not an option.
Also nah elegant poise is not as good as people think, maybe the 1hp solo people will love it but for me I prefer not to get stuck in a retarded 4 sec animation that can not be swifted. Would still use pdef while soloing any day instead of this.
Not working when ailment inflicted is a major blow as well.
@@mayamsp4398 I tried, it helps with GSW Halberd when i was about to die. But only sometime or solo 1 HP double gei style. Of course P.def is still far superior, if have shield, but now everyone can have one defensive skill. Situational but worth it. Just 1 sp is enough.
@@winter5958 So you tried with gsw? Did the second animation that eats away the invinc get any faster or did it stay the same? Honestly would have been an alright skill if they just removed the ailment disable.
@@mayamsp4398 It's the same speed.... This is similar to P.def. Then, worst scenario is getting hit by Freeze... since the ailment applied instantly, second dance is gonna be affected by Freeze lul 4s dance

So elegant skill is like a really buffed up perfect defence that lasts longer.
Kinda disappoint for this new skill, specially for minstrel. There is no healing, buff attack (putting element attack aside) or defense. What I expected is something like
song of defense 1.5 x defense.
Song of rejuvenation hp and mp heal each second.
Song of wisdom add matk increase each stack ,
song of courage add atk each stack.
Since the downside is we can't do anything when we play a song.
Not like priest skill like gloria(double defense) and bless(hp each 3 sec). We still can do damage when buff on.
but we got this .. well nope..

Man, what a good supp skills. Too bad i can't get it coz i'm poor rn, i wish these skill books price won't rise drastically next 2 months, still got a lot of stuff to buy for my main and i barely making any money selling fillstat staff :(
I guess the supply will be more next couple of months. And lesser demand. Probably, with more sellers, it will go down. Or you could just farm it yourself as the materials are not that high lvl

maybe recovery+elegant poise will a good combination.
try 100 ailment resist + elegant poise and lets see what happen :D
That elegant poise looks pretty useful.
But the animation of that skill, just doesn't suit with my heavy armored char. It looks weird, you feel me?
About the other skills.. i don't know. I'm not really into support skill, but i'd learn some of it (like heal and recovery).
Anyway, keep up the good work.
I think life song also can recover your hp, but not all hp. It only recover your addition hp
So its only recover your 5k hp(in lv10 skill)

Didn't expect that it could reduce all dmg to 0 when HP is 1 left. It's worthy to use on staff-fu or some build which dancer skill is available. Problem about lack of defensive skill is solved.
Hell no Staff cannot use Dancer skills. So sad, call a minstrel and play Despacito for me

edit : Let me correct something, to increase dancer skills stack u need reuse it below 5 sec not 2 sec. we still got Invicible buff 4 sec from elegant poise even its interrupted from flinch or tumble (at least u got damage taken).
Only good thing about those books is the healing of 5k hp for every team member? So yeah other than that raising your accuracy or dropping enemies accuracy and/or dodge rate is useless. Maybe it might work on ornlarf because her dodge rate is almost off the charts, even with 100% crit rate I tend to miss a lot. Katana user here. Other than ornlarf and the mini ghost boss on the way to pillar golem is my only concern with dodge rates.

I'm guessing that buff skills of dancer ones are mostly bugged... Only can use Elegant Poise and the nature one. I hope the will fix it soon >
So minstrel skills are whole party wide effect like war cry etc. and dancer are only user only ?
It's same, i just forgot to put it for dancer xD
But yeah there is dancer skill which affect yourself only, and some small circle only
minstrels affect whole map even if you are 30m away from team like a chicken change map lose buff, charge very long, so nope, also get hit or hit = cancel song, why can't you sing while slapping boss?, i don't know, you use hand right? not mouth
These skills aren't for dps i think . They r only for support like example support mage etc . asobimo made these skills to give more choices for us instead of dps n tanking cause almost 99% players only knows about dps in toram . They didn't wanted to make a weapon that only specializes in buffing debuffing n some sort of attacks (cause of the only dps shit) that's why they gave skill books . But again a bad move cause u have to learn it through books n not library . If they wanted to make a new play style they wouldn't have done that , so yea unless ppl want to try something different or u can learn from library then the support classes will rise . But u can clearly tell that's not the case .
@@muramasa7537 its funny how some people want to apply these skills to their dps class, can't they see the beauty of someone supporting in the back making his/her ally super strong? Then again, people only care about fast kill, lets see their reaction when future bosses obliterate 1 tank 3 dps team comp easily
@@wintershogun4406 aye support more important now especially since aso showed hand with iron empress, more bosses with DMG per hit limits on ways and more bosses with elemental weaknesses and insta kill aoes. Shame they made book tho that shit pisses me off XD gotta grind 2.5 mill spina (if want both skill trees due to market inflation) and another 80k just to make pure support mage XD I've always sucked at making DPS so I can't just farm xtals also can't grind maze cause guildies all hate maze(plus I'm kind of pathetic in term of gear only just got were I can D refine stuff reliably XD

And how you can got unlimited time buff of passin song

I think ornlaf has -100% accurate he good at dodge
Lul he has 700 dodge on Normal so yes u can hit him but not with NM Ulti

Use elegant poise at imitator, lets see how immortal you are. Long poopy animation + No swift + Disabled by ailments isnt that great as you think. Dw already got better invinc skills, dont really need this unless you love 1hp challenge.
Sometime i will use this because lack of mp for phantom slash, i will learn this 1 lvl

I have something to ask you . What is the exact condition to be invincible in skill elegant poise? The first buff effect is reduce damage 50% and when getting fatal damage, then i become invincible? Actually cant understand exact mechanism of this skill..
First get hit, and invincible, if you hp is 1, the for fatal dmg you will be invincible

I have a question, so I tried using the wonder dance, the one which heals with a full vit support character. What turned out was that I only healed myself by 2k even though I had no party. Assuming it should scale only by hp, I would assume I could heal myself by somewhere near 8k hp, (my base is 20k hp)
So what happened to that?
Further information, I had maxed the skill out

So if fantasy song like u said other skill is consumed the stack so if we used tenryu with only 1 stack of this skill that means no mp consumed also if i used this skill in ktm build and use it in battle i only need 1 stack for not consuming mp can asnwer this ?
Yes, but, remember minstrel characteristic? You can't attack or get attacked to play your song, if you did atk or get attacked, your song will be paused
how many tenryu we can do in 10s? We can use tenryu in 10s then use ab-lib to restore song effect then tenryu........
Paused means the skill is no longer on effect or time gets reduced and stacks get back to 1 ?
@@zonrifle6220 I think paused mean you still have 12s to use ad-lib to restore it with all stack you charge before pause.
Then you need to not attack again to gain more stack, since paused mean no stack, well, these skill really for support who didn't attack xD
I think if u go full support, u can do both of these skills. However SP will be the main problem if that were the case.
