Why? Would you not feed your baby if it’s only placement for the first month or two of its life was on your body somewhere not many places to go when it’s just your body right? You can set your offspring in a crib, these animals can’t do that, so these moms have learned to come up with systems so that everybody has a little piece and offspring will be safe.
These things are not human. They are born nipple addicted and they pester their mothers 24/7 for access to her nipples.

These mothers know exactly how to handle these babies. They understand their personalities as well like we do our own offspring, some of our kids are a little more boys stress and others are a little more clingy, etc. So with some offspring, they’re just a little more strict and setting up the schedule.
