I have really enjoyed your videos. I appreciate that you are doing this as a hobby, and I am doing it as a hobby as well. In the past I’ve only sold vintage Lego sets that I had stored but now I’m starting to sell some parts both new and used. I have a specific question regarding pricing strategy for new parts. Can you tell me what strategy you use? I am struggling to make my own decision about how to price. For instance I’m looking at a specific part and the average price for the last six months sales is $.24. However when I look at currently available pricing there are many people selling that piece with a quantity of over 10 available for less, and some of those people have inventories large enough to fulfill the largest actual six month sale. It’s hard to see how I could really sell any at $.24 and yet according to brick link that’s the average in my country - USA. On a different topic I just joined your discord server. I’ve never done discord before so I will be getting up to speed on that. Is that a better place for this question?
I am in the US and I think too many people look at part-out value as the ultimate basis for buying a set. If the part out value is 10x the purchase price but it sits in a drawer for 3 years it doesnt help you. I realize a store's inventory will change over time but if you dont sell the parts within 9 months to a year that is dead inventory.
Very useful information and I imagine it's a lot of work to compile the data. When I started out I definitely made the mistake of only looking at POV
Where did you get this data? Or at the very least, how can I replicate something similar?

Discord is definitely the best place to raise any questions.. just make sure you read the rules and give it a thumbs up to get full access.
Yes it was useful to hear. Do not sell Lego at this time but buying for inventory. I like looking at sets that have good pieces that people will want.
