If Texas can get pressure on the quarterback they have a chance. The last two games Ohio State have played there's been zero pressure and with great wide receivers they will pick you apart. Texas has to shrink the pocket or it will be a long day.
Texas is mostly 5 start recruits on both sides of the ball. Arizona State doesn’t have a single 5 start recruit on the roster. Sounds like that buzz saw is going to continue to eat up the best teams CFB.
It's truly insane how much every media outlet is treating OSU like they are invincible and Texas as if they are a G5 team. Texas had one bad quarter in the ASU game. OSU embarrassed a bad Tennessee team and played great defense against an Oregon team without its 1200+ RB and second-option WR. OSU passed for the same yardage against Oregon as they did the first time they played - and rushed for 40 more. They are not a completely different offense - and this will be statistically the best overall defense they've played all year.
Well you should also take into account in the 2nd game they played roughly 3 quarters. In the first game it was a full game of attacking. They clearly took their foot off the gas in the 2nd game and was just trying to get out of there healthy for texas.
Bad Tennessee team that went 10-2 in the same conference Texas plays? Oregon had their star RB but he got “hurt” when they were already down 31-0. So do you think Oregon was planning to run the ball in the second half to come back and score quickly? Oregons RB doesn’t play defense. That’s where they needed help. Ohio State is without MULTIPLE starting O-Lineman. That’s turn the tables.. Texas BARELY beat a subpar ASU team without their BEST WR 🤨
@@beermeBrow Michigan was a regular season game that they obviously didn’t prepare for. On a Buckeye good day, Texas won’t compete with their best talent. Good luck 👍
You must be one of those Arizona State fan who hasn't slept since the game. That game was 100 percent called evenly so stop acting like one no call was the deciding factor. Try stopping fourth and 13 with your safety not defending the goal line. In fact the last three Texas snaps on offense were for 15 points. The refs give Texas those points? Play defense next time.
@ $20million down the drain 🤣🤣🤣 And if you think any Michigan fan cares that our season is over with a win over Ohio State and Alabama then you’re even dumber than you seem. Fun Fact: Michigan has more wins over Alabama in the year 2024 than Ohio State has over Alabama total
If Texas plays for 4 quarters moving the ball like they can and not be turning it over Longhorns win. Arch will be ready if any problems or injury happens to Eyers.
I remember when the steelers won a superbowl as a wild card team. They literally snuck in at 9-7 and went to win a superbowl. Nobody talks about the losses they had that yr. Its just they won a superbowl. They got hot at the right time and carried it to the end
A couple regular season loses don’t matter. I’m a Buckeyes fan, unfortunately Ohio State vs Michigan game doesn’t matter as much anymore. We all know college football has been redesigned.
When you put up 40 plus points in back to back playoffs teams vs legit competition while going into cruise mode with 10 minutes to go in the 4th quarter things change a bit. Safe to say this is the real Ohio State. What was Texas' best win this year? ASU? 9-3 Clemson?

safe to say for ohio too. if they don't pressure qb, Texas will pick them appart.
We will watch. Nobody thought Ohio State would beat Tennessee

OSU also could have put another 30 points on Oregon, but went into a prevent offense and defense.

Ohio State is absolutely a completely different offense than they were during the season
As a Buckeye fan I hate it. But what ANYBODY is saying won't mean a damn thing to what actually happens on the field.
Tu fans and Ohio State fans calling each others fan base cocky and arrogant is the spider man meme where they are pointing at each other
OSU has a Xichigan problem not a Texas. At best texas will make this a competitive as they get beat… 54 -17 OSU.
You think someone is going to score 54 points on the third best defense in college football? Ohio State may win but they aren't scoring like that.

Isn't Michigan the only common opponent this year? I agree the UM was better later in the year but it was still the same guys.
Can’t glean much from rivalry games . Georgia Tech probably had UGA beat more than Texas
You keep talking OSU.. you cried against Michigan. Welcome to Texas. Hook em horns 🤘🏽🤘🏽

Texas is getting rolled. The refs bailed them last game.

Get off the drugs they will get destroyed 😂 u no that
Ohio State would have to completely implode to get beat by Texas. But it could happen.🤷♂️
Insanity- OSU goes from desperation and firing their coach to the greatest ever !🙈
This is how goofy OSU fans have become.
Get the crow ready to eat
Ryan Day and Quinn Ewers get no respect from their fan base! Which one gets to throw the middle finger up today!!! 🤘🏽
Is that the same OSU that a few weeks ago lost to the Michigan team that Texas beat?

No. Its a different OSU. Dont know much about football do ya?

Texas beats Ohio State 31-28
QB 0-3 vs Texas
Big Willy Style 💪🏿
This is ridiculous. A few weeks ago, the program was in shambles after getting destroyed by a lowly Michigan team. What a joke.
It’s a different offense
Yea, that lowly Michigan team beat Alabama. Remember how your longhorns choked against an overrated Georgia team in the SEC championship. Go Buckeyes
So, was it true?
TEXAS destroyed Michigan, who destroyed Ohio State. True or not?
