I agree with this. In high school I was on the boys soccer team and there was a girl on the girls soccer team who would get really surly and mean when I was around and would ignore me. With what you’re saying you keep getting eye contact, but she doesn’t want to talk, so I think maybe she’s very nervous around you? With me, if I like someone I usually am really awkward around them. As a shy girl, I agree with a lot of these but not with the physical contact thing. When I don't have a crush on someone, I don't care if my hand accidentally brushes theirs. But if I have a crush, I always pay attention to what I do with my hands and I avoid making any accidental contact to the point that it might be noticeable that I'm trying hard not to touch that person

I think this girl likes me in my class. Upon reflection I think she does #6. She is fine talking to everyone, but when it's me, she's quiet. Let’s give some credit to shy girls, or shy people in general. Some of them have hearts of gold, and hence sometimes it’s not a matter of having courage or not. Sometimes they might have been badly hurt in the past (and I do mean badly hurt) that they just are jaded of people letting them down. So they resort to gauge people’s interest and sparing themselves more disappointment.
Sometimes being quiet can indicate that you don't know that person. I do that with everyone and most people. Unless, I find something worth in them. I ignore people I consider useless and worthless. And people who have no connection with me, because they think the same of me. I will glare at them, to show them that I can see right through their bullshit. He will assume I like him (this other guy from my current job). But in reality, I look at him with disgust.

1) That’s definitely true. We will try and compliment you if we feel if it’s the right time or if you did something cool for us etc
2) This is very true. I smile a lot at my crush all the time and stare into his eyes.
3) Yes. Sometimes we feel uncomfortable holding it for long but we do our best.
4) Lol too true. Sometimes I laugh even when my crush doesn’t make a joke. Maybe a part of this is because we feel so nervous though.

Let’s give some credit to shy girls, or shy people in general. Some of them have hearts of gold, and hence sometimes it’s not a matter of having courage or not. Sometimes they might have been badly hurt in the past (and I do mean badly hurt) that they just are jaded of people letting them down. So they resort to gauge people’s interest and sparing themselves more disappointment.
Sometimes being quiet can indicate that you don't know that person. I do that with everyone and most people. Unless, I find something worth in them. I ignore people I consider useless and worthless. And people who have no connection with me, because they think the same of me. I will glare at them, to show them that I can see right through their bullshit. He will assume I like him (this other guy from my current job). But in reality, I look at him with disgust.

When a girl or woman plays with their hair I thought it was annoying, but now I understand why and I love seeing it.
There is a girl who seems shy and nervous around me and sometimes numbers 6, 11, and 12 happen when I get near her. However she seems to ignore me and a couple times appeared to want to hide. In fact I have said hi to her a few times and she ignored me. So I began thinking I might be creeping her out or something. However she knows that I will be in the areas she comes to and she does so about three times a day sometimes with other people and sometimes alone and sits there and seems to watch me from a distance very quietly. I have seen her with another guy a couple times but I don't know whether he is her boyfriend or brother. I am almost positive by looking at her that she is a little young to be married so I highly doubt he is her husband.
If you said hi and she totally ignores you, then I don't think she's interested at all. I mean, a simple hi back doesn't take much effort.
She probably not interested or she is tooooooo shy. I am that kind of girl. If she not into you, she will obviously show you that she's not interested, and she might even tell you directly. If she is too shy, she will ignore face to face, maybe to act cool or not making it obvious she likes you. But, from distance, she keep checking on you. Try to throw lame jokes with your friends in her present and check out her reaction.
Maybe when you say hi, she’s shocked and doesn’t have time or just physically can’t reply. Has happened to me before:)
