Under the moniker of Varg, Jonas Rönnberg runs a cunning operation. Covert transmissions, alongside penetrating statements from techno’s core, are stacked adjacent to self-assertive live performances with an agility and depth of focus rarely summoned so instinctively.
Recorded at the 2017 White Night event of Skaņu Mežs festival in The Concert Hall AVE SOL which was built in 18th century as St. Peter and Pavel Church, Varg presents an hour of ambient soundscapes. Varg is a 2017 alumnus of the SHAPE platform for innovative music and audiovisual art, which is supported by the "Creative Europe" programme of the EU.
