This verse, 3:145, recited by Hazrat Abu Bakr upon the demise of our noble Prophet (saw) clearly indicates that Jesus Christ(as) is also dead. From disbelief, the Companions even Hasrat Omar, immediately believed on hearing this verse that the HP(saw) was dead. If they thought Jesus (as)was alive, why did none of them mentioned it... how can our Prophet(saw) be dead when a lesser prophet is alive? They would not have believed in his death if they thought Jesus (as) was alive. This was the first consensus that irrefutably show that Jesus Christ(as) is dead. Incidentally, there are many other verses of the HQ that indicates Jesus Christ (as) is dead. Please ponder over and check the following verses-: 3:56, 5:76, 16:22, 21:9, to name a few.

Law bearing, who brings a new law for the people to follow and non law bearing, who comes to rehearse the signs of a previous prophet. Naturally, the law bearings prophet has a greater mission as he is entrusted with the reformation of people steeped in idolatry. A non law bearing or follower prophet is just instructed to remind the people of the law brought by the previous prophet. Jesus himself said in the Bible he did not come to destroy the law. Matt.5:17

Masha Allah. This looks it was a 1 to 1.5 hour guide in English at Dar al Madinah Museum. Because I did this as well = this is worth the tour and a good book store to buy an excellent book there once the tour is done.
