Little Mix aren’t a kpop group, so there’s no positions behind them, all of them are pretty solid as vocalists and all of them had their moments in those songs.
I have a simple explanation Perrie and Jihyo are the best vocalists of their groups, but Jade and Nayeon’s voices are more commercial and made for pop, so they tend to have more adlibs and high notes

The only reason I’m surprised is because she has the strongest voice. That’s why I reasoned that the person who chose the lines must really like Jades voice and or jades voice just fits the songs.
