Regarding bread you probably would like to look for some smaller bread making shops. Not often but sometimes they bake their own bread (mostly it's baked frozen ones tbh but nevertheless tasty). So you could find one for you. Usual big grocery shop bread is made in large numbers in some factories and therefore they have that "middle" or average taste that not always too good. It become better when fried on a pan though.
