I'm a lapsed Catholic in Ireland. When all the horrid details of abuse were made public I was angry, still am. But when I watch these videos and I've watched many I feel the love these women have for the Lord and their vocations. I wish I had that peace I once felt and wish these ladies a life of happiness in their vocation.
I moved to Ireland from UK in 2020 and was a Catholic at that time but a few months later I fet called to be back in The Salvation Army whose mission is to serve others just like these sisters. I live in rural Galway and my nearest corps, church, is in Dublin but this year I aim to be there once a month because that is where God is asking me to be.
I always wondered if a woman that has been married had children can become a nun? I’m 63 and I would love to devote my to the order! I love my Lord with all of my heart and I’ll do what I can to please Him! 🙏🏼
Yes of course! The carmelite nuns accept widows e.g. Saint Rita of Cascia or Saint Brigit of Sweden were married and had children for example and then entered religious life when their husbands passed away. God bless you!
The purity within these women is truly beautiful - they are an inspiration to all women who suffer the most disgusting sin of whoredom. These are brides of God, as our women should be brides of men - they are blessed beyond all.
Im actually a seminarian and its just such a nice thing to serve God in a different way. So nice to experience such a radiacal way of happiness..Pray for us😊

Dear Yasmin , if you are still thinking of religious life then if you want you can get in touch with me . I am nun and happily led by Jesus for the last 17 years . We work in schools , hospitals , missions and adapt according to the needs of the time . We are in England , Italy, Belgium, France and India .

I heard all the sisters say.. 'a sense of purpose and deep joy' again and again and this is what most in the secular world find very difficult to comprehend, serenity without possibly possessing nothing. I feel we have gone wrong somewhere in not teaching where real joys is found. When many see such joy they want to have it and yet not able to let go many of the things. I came across quite few whispers 'what it that u Christians got that makes u peopl glow (meaning joyful)' . I can see that joy in these nuns. Pray for our world so that we put back God at the center of all that we do.
My prayer as well are for your dear servants please protect and keep them safe in their day to day service to the community bringing your Love to them.
