I love them so much but I really really hope they don’t mess up their storyline if they do end up together. We’ve had enough cheating storylines and it would play into terrible stereotypes for an out bisexual character to cheat. Not only that but Tommy is such a sweet character I wouldn’t want their relationship to end badly. Personally I also see him supporting Eddie and Buck being together because he seemed surprised Buck was trying to get HIS attention and is very understanding of Buck figuring out his sexuality. Also also us finding out more about Eddie’s limited dating past and how Catholicism was a big part of shaping how he grew up really sets him up for a repressed gay storyline. Overall there is so much goddamn potential for a Eddie and Buck relationship but they need to handle it delicately because of how groundbreaking even just Buck coming out as bisexual is.
i agree the cheating storyline we be awful even though i don't like tommy and the way he treats buck, having buck cheat would play into very untrue stereotypes. i also want them to focus on just buck and his sexuality out of a relationship and same for Eddie when he has his realization moment
At the risk of an arguement, I kinda hope this deep friendship stays as is. Sure, EVAN and Eddie would make a wonderful couple (dare I say HOT!), but I appreciated this example of a true deep relationship between two adult men. They know each other inside and out, yet, they're always there for each other. They have each others' backs. Just another example of true love between two men with nothing sexual involve. A rarity.
@@michaelkrupar9808 strong friendships are important but in reality we get ALOT of close male friendships though what we don’t see is two best friends that know each other so well, that are more in the masculine side figuring out there sexuality in their mid 30s and falling for each other after years of friendship and having one of them be a catholic, Mexican ex military solider, and then both being firefighters and one being bisexual that has had clear relationships with men and women break many stereotypes I just think even under all the “THEY’RE MADE FOR EACH OTHER! (which they are)” them being together can represent a lot of people that don’t really see themselves in media. But ofc everyone is entitled to they’re opinions :)
They need to be together there In Love Christopher Needs his two dads Live Happy Ever After family Buck and Eddie and Christopher see what happens I’m all for it 9-1-1 118 family
Now all we need is Eddie to take the am I gay quiz and have an oh moment
Best answer ever when someone comes out: this doesn't change a thing between us.
Love them! I'd love to see them together ❤
