Had no idea that was a bronco! So nice looking! Ive never seen that color (only red or black), and the wood on yours looks richer and nicer than what they sell now on the bronco which is really light.

It seems that it was a limited color at the time of purchase. This color is my favorite, I was lucky!

It's great ! You're a true musician : you can use any instrument you want, even a "cheap" one, and it will sound great :)
I really like the bronco bass, maybe i'll buy one of these someday.

Hello Taka, i'd wish that Squier by Fender would have taken noticed by now, to add a third new color (besides the black & Torino red) like this very nice vintage white, blonde or butterscotch colored body along with the white numbered volume & tone (instead of the chrome) plastic nobs for the Bronco bass guitar!!

This Bronco modification is just changing the knob for Stratocaster.
The rest is as original !!

@@takashi_oka i like the Strat nobs on the Bronco bass, it looks really cool. Nice small modification on your part!! Thanks for the info.

Wow! With that form of playing any bass would souns awesome. I just got a bought a. Bronco bass. What kind of strings you have on it? It's my first bass... Do you have more loose trusroad and high bridge or low bridge? I know it's balance, but I still can not get good low action without some freting after 12 freet, specialy in A string. Any recommendation would be appreciate it.

      Cheap and cute Bronco Bass!!
It is supposed to be an introduction, but it introduces that you can play as good as you can.
The bass string is D'Addario's EXL.
If you adjust the neck and bridge properly, I think it will be easier to play without problems.

i need a second bass and I ain't got money for some squier vintage vibe. I play some really raw hard rock and like to use it with a fuzz pedal, will it work good with Bronco? What are your thoughts and from all who are reading it?

Hi Taka, first thanks for the review!
Which string gauge are you using on this bass in the video? thx

    • @takashi_oka
      @takashi_oka  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I thought .050 ~ .110 is good for string tension, but I used .045 ~ .105 in this video.
It was easy to play after all.

@@CharlesNotBronson They've been around since 1997. But the early models were made in China until 1998. Since 1999, they're made Indonesia. The Bronco Bass has evolved a little bit over the years, just like many other basses and guitars did.

I am not going to change PU for now.
As you know, this is a single coil PU for guitar.

@@danielirvine7468 You could fit a Seymour Duncan SCPB - 1, 2 or 3 on your Bronco, I just got the SCPB - 3, it improves the output of the bass.
