I love the setup, but I wish that the Commentators would be floating treading water to stay a float. They are just sitting in the water like there is no water. The Wrestlers are coming out walking in the water like there’s nothing there. The Wrestlers should be swimming there should be splashing. More work needs to be done to make this setup better.
The Simpsons started as shorts on a show called The Tracey Ullman show in 1987. Frank Drebin is from the movie called The Naked Gun series. Congratulations to the winner of this awesome water Rumble.
How about doing Mel Blanc Rumble where he did voices of iconic cartoon characters with Daffy Duck,Yosemite Sam,Sylvester,Tweety,Roadrunner,Speedy Gonzales,Foghorn Leghorn,Pepe' Le Pew,Elmer Fudd,Barnyard Dog,Henry Hawk,Cecil Turtle,Marvin the Martian,Beaky Buzzard,Charlie Dog,Porky Pig,Taz,Gossamer,Claude Cat,Private Snafu,Barney Rubble,Dino,Mr,Spacely,Heathcliff,Secret Squirrel,Captain Caveman,Tom and Jerry,Woody Woodpecker and Bugs Bunny.
Back when 'Dirty Dancing' came out (and i had short hair and no beard) Girls used to tell me i looked like Patrick Swayze all the time...used to drive my friends nuts.
Damn all the big guys continue to dominate including on these created ones. Well done though. I think we need to settle who's better, we need to do an NFL, NHL, MLB vs NBA Royal Rumble and determine who and what is the best category in sports.
An Inferno Rumble would be interesting. Or a comic book/cartoon vs. Live-action version. For example, Voltron vs. Power Rangers. Maybe a Championship Winners Rumble.
What a great way to kick off the new season! Norm winning and those undertaker eyes 👀 looks unbeatable! Thank you Ricky for throwing in your hat into this rumble with Al Bundy! Great showing! Cheers, Mike L 😎🇨🇦👍🏻✌🏻
Ricky, how about a rumble with lead singers from different rock bands ( like acdc, guns n roses, nirvana, slipknot etc), to see who is the ultimate ROCKSTAR🤘
How about a martial arts rumble? Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Donnie Yen, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Scott Adkins, Bolo Yeung, Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Sonny Chiba, Jim Kelly, Steven Seagal, Michael Jai White, Sammo Hung, Daniel Larusso, Mr. Miyagi, the the Power Rangers, you throw a ninja in there, you can have the Ninja Turtles, Afro Samurai, etc etc .... you know the drill !
Eddie Murphy is dressed as Detective Axel Foley from Beverly Hills Cop. Kurt Russel is dressed as his character from Big Trouble in Little China. Harrison Ford is dressed like Indiana Jones. Bruce Willis is dressed as John McLean from Die Hard. Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are as they appeared in Lethal Weapon.
Cool idea! Can't wait to watch! With Canada Day only weeks away, how about an all-Canadian Rumble? Base it on where the wrestlers were raised, not where they were billed from. Let's have Canada's best against each other! BC: Earthquake Alberta: Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Chris Benoit (born in Montreal, but raised in Edmonton), Jinder Mahal Saskatchewan: ?? Manitoba: Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Roddy Piper (born in Saskatoon, but raised in the 'Peg) Ontario: Edge, Christian, Val Venis (Sean Morley), Abdullah the Butcher (you didn't *really* think he was Sudanese, did you?), Iron Mike Sharpe, Lance Storm Quebec: Rick Martel, Dino Bravo (born in Italy, raised in Montreal), Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Dino Bravo, Raymond and Jacques Rougeau, Pierre Ouellet (ex-Quebecer, now PCO in ROH/TNA), Maurice "Mad Dog" Vachon and his brother Paul "Butcher" Vachon, Pat Patterson That's 25, right there, and I'm sure you can find more. (Wikipedia is your friend…I had no idea Piper was Canadian!) Good one, eh? (Actually, the way PQ is over-represented, perhaps we need some Quebeçois v. English Canada WarGames matches too?)
You did it ! We're back !! This is exactly what was ordered , well done Ricky. Amazing !!! I think we need to see Norm back this season, he's the new Winslow 😂😂 nutty professor can be in a family movie rumble, where everyone is nice 😅 I love that you took part and yes 1 and done should be the rule unless you get the quick elimination. Thanks Ricky, it really feels like you listen to the fans ❤ I had so much fun with this rumble. Season 11 is gonna be the best . And you only watch old movies because they are the best . I try and watch movies now but it feels like a lot of politics get in the way of a good story . 80s and 90s movies ❤ dems da best . Same with the wrestling 😂
Bruce Willis, Burt Reynolds, Stallone, and Arnold in the ring at the same time. Good lord. Talk about macho men. And then you got Macchio, JCVD, Weathers, and Norris. Macho Men Royal Rumble. If you haven't done that one yet, it would easily be one of the best just with the names themselves. And I have a crazy Swayze story. I was in 10th grade when Swayze died. 2 weeks after he died, my history teacher got a teacher's assistant. And no joke, his name was Patrick Swayze. It was freaky. I met Patrick Swayze, right after Patrick Swayze died. You can't make that shit up.
Ralph pronounces his last name "MOCK-ee-oh". (No idea if the Marvel comics writer/editor of the same name does it that way, though.) Dang, that's a tiny Bruce Willis. "Die Easy", I guess. There's a diner chain in L.A. called "Norm's" They actually have people yelling "NORM'S" in the ad, because you can't copyright a yell, I guess.
Sometime in this season we need the a main character rumble...Head of their Franchise....He-Man, Rocky, Forrest Gump, Tim Toolman Taylor, Ricky Bobby, Jake Gyllenhall (Roadhouse), Walter White, Optimus Prime, Ace Ventura, etc.
@RickyJSports Thanks so much Ricky, I'll always be proud that I was the one that told you how to pick opponents off of the ground in these games 😂 Look into the paybacks, rage is fun, but so is brass knuckles, low blow, fire ball and poison mist! 👊🏼
You know, seeing as this Rumble had both Arnie and Carl Weathers in it, I'm somewhat disappointed that they didn't round the trio off with a Predator to fight them both.
As a lifelong Chicago Bull's fan I do agree that the 1993 Phoenix Suns were one of the Bulls biggest challenges in the finals. However I think a case could also be made for the 1997 Utah Jazz
Rage means; if you use it, you gain a finisher if you use your whole blue bar. If you are close to a finisher save your rage until close to your next finisher bar.

Lol, the arena is spectacular! I loved it, I too was going for MJ, he Moonwalked his way into the ring and thought he was Dangerous, but he didn't have the right Billie Jean(s) on, so another 80's figure Beat It out of him, & i can only Say Say Say he was ok! Congrats to Norm. I thought Urkel was going to win it? I thought The Simpsons with Bart debut was on Saturday Night Live in the 90's? I don't remember didn't Wikipedia it?
I still hate the dumb AI in wrestling games. They crowd you, mess up your matches in tags, they run back to the ring in triple threat or 4 way tlc, extreme rules, etc. I think pins should count anywhere in any hardcore match. That's how it used to be in real life. Also, wwe needs to bring back hardcore, European, and cruiserweight original titles. They should also do hardcore tag titles. I've said that for years.

But this rumble literally features our contestants ‘washed up’ when defeat is inevitable. As if it watching competitors getting hurled over the top rope is entertaining enough, seeing them hit the water and having to trudge backstage cold and damp is hysterical (Though humiliating for the losers). Still, much like every other season in this series, only the very best competitor is the one who is willing to toss everyone aside and be the one to actually enjoy a dry spell. And to the surprise of us all, the winner happens to be a man who spent a living enjoying a cold drink at the end of every workday… Norm Peterson, one of the most popular characters from the hit 1980s television sitcom ‘Cheers’. When we think of Norm, people think he’s just that guy who gives a casual greeting, awaiting everyone to say his name, make a dry remark about his day, and just spend the majority of the episode sitting on his favorite stool and drinking beer. In some cases, we’d be correct considering that is essentially what Norm is best known for and yet all the same it’s those habits why we like him so much. Yet it is still surprising that he of all people would end up the winner of this competition, but then again, we’ve seen Carl from ‘Family Matters’ win a rumble several times. Since this is merely the beginning of what’s still to come, for now we celebrate Norm’s success in what essentially marks his first victory in a rumble since… ever. But who was my MVP of this 1980s rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers: Of the thirty men featured in this bout, only FOURTEEN competitors secured the most eliminations (One man short of breaking the halfway mark). The highest count reached up to ‘6’ eliminations, which is five points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination. I give the Golden MVP Award for the ‘coolest’ performance to: Norm Peterson Winning the rumble is one thing; winning with the highest elimination count is another. While I do not know if this entirely means Norm is the man to win the champions’ rumble, his performance goes to show that he is not to be underestimated. The man’s high weight and strength proved to be great factors in winning his rumble, and perhaps that may be the key to winning the finale. The Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance goes to: Doogie Howser, M.D. The young medical prodigy had one chance to make a good first impression during what essentially is the first episode of a new season… and he gets tossed out of the ring just as he enters the match. Then again, we must bear in mind this young man mainly knows medicine and the proper procedures, we cannot expect him to hold his own in a fight. That does not mean he won’t have another chance to prove himself, but in some circumstances it’s just the way things are. Norm Peterson emerges from this match as the first, and likely not last, of a long line of competitors aiming to submit themselves a spot in the next champions’ finale. In the meantime, we ask ourselves a few questions: Has Norm’s performance inspired all the unlikely underdogs to partake in future rumbles to come? Will the popular of the ‘water’ rumble inspire other themes in the next episodes? Can we anticipate a more ‘action packed’ rumble or perhaps something more down-to-earth for younger audiences? And the biggest question of them all: Who’s next?
Aww man, u should feature a Rapper Rumble. With all the Drake vs Kendrick Lamar going on right now, it'd be time to bring out them classic rappers from the times to stop them from breaking them streets.
The movie with Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves was Point Break. Great movie lol
The Simpsons started as shorts on a show called The Tracey Ullman show in 1987. Frank Drebin is from the movie called The Naked Gun series. Congratulations to the winner of this awesome water Rumble.
Well done ! I put in my comment and forgot to put in these facts. 😂😊 thanks
Amazing
Alex Trebek: I'm sorry that elimination wasn't in the form of a question
The announcers in the water..... hilarious
How about doing Mel Blanc Rumble where he did voices of iconic cartoon characters with Daffy Duck,Yosemite Sam,Sylvester,Tweety,Roadrunner,Speedy Gonzales,Foghorn Leghorn,Pepe' Le Pew,Elmer Fudd,Barnyard Dog,Henry Hawk,Cecil Turtle,Marvin the Martian,Beaky Buzzard,Charlie Dog,Porky Pig,Taz,Gossamer,Claude Cat,Private Snafu,Barney Rubble,Dino,Mr,Spacely,Heathcliff,Secret Squirrel,Captain Caveman,Tom and Jerry,Woody Woodpecker and Bugs Bunny.
Patrick swayze was in one of my favorite movies Road House.
Back when 'Dirty Dancing' came out (and i had short hair and no beard) Girls used to tell me i looked like Patrick Swayze all the time...used to drive my friends nuts.
Great Job As Always 🔥🔥 always entertaining great characters, and yes, and all 80s cartoon rumble yes please 100%
Haha with norm winning the rumble the question is will he finally pay his bar tab 😂😂😂
Pronounced "Motch-io"... also gotta love the "Jack Burton" Kurt Russell! His best 80's role!
U r the man tjx
Point break was the movie keanu and swayzee were in together. Classic brother. You got me ready to go on an 80s movie night.
Great fun once again! Could you get Norm MacDonald in one of these Rumbles? There's a couple theme he could fit in (Canada, comedy...)
Damn all the big guys continue to dominate including on these created ones. Well done though.
I think we need to settle who's better, we need to do an NFL, NHL, MLB vs NBA Royal Rumble and determine who and what is the best category in sports.

Ricky doing more rumbles you love to see it
80's Style in the Water! Great times..My highlight was when Urkel drop kicked Frank Dukes outta there!
What a great way to kick off the new season! Norm winning and those undertaker eyes 👀 looks unbeatable! Thank you Ricky for throwing in your hat into this rumble with Al Bundy! Great showing!

Ricky, how about a rumble with lead singers from different rock bands ( like acdc, guns n roses, nirvana, slipknot etc), to see who is the ultimate ROCKSTAR🤘
Love this idea. Battle of the bands 😂😂😂
That's great! 🎸

TECHNICALLY...the Simpsons debuted on 'The Tracey Ullman Show' (1987-1990)
That was the skinniest Bruce Willis I've ever seen!
P90x
Eddie Murphy is dressed as Detective Axel Foley from Beverly Hills Cop. Kurt Russel is dressed as his character from Big Trouble in Little China. Harrison Ford is dressed like Indiana Jones. Bruce Willis is dressed as John McLean from Die Hard. Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are as they appeared in Lethal Weapon.
Norrrrm!! That was awesome Ricky J!!
Cool idea! Can't wait to watch!
With Canada Day only weeks away, how about an all-Canadian Rumble? Base it on where the wrestlers were raised, not where they were billed from. Let's have Canada's best against each other!
BC: Earthquake
Alberta: Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Chris Benoit (born in Montreal, but raised in Edmonton), Jinder Mahal

This sounds like looniecy.
I love that ! I'm Canadian too ❤🇨🇦
Sailor White aka Moondog King for Newfoundland.
Frank Dribbin is grom the Naked Gun movie serie
John Goodman was in The Flintstones in 1994. He was Dan Conner on Roseanne in the 1980s
Polk high would of been proud of that run almost as good as his 4 touchdowns in one game
You did it ! We're back !! This is exactly what was ordered , well done Ricky. Amazing !!! That Burt Reynolds looks more like Chris Pratt with a moustache 😂😂
I would like to see that all cartoons for a rumble.
For a second i thought John Goodman was Norm Peterson
Mel Gibson and Danny Glover were dressed as Riggs and Murtaugh(sp?) from Lethal Weapon.
You got it !
Lol 😆
Ngl, I was hoping for a Lethal Weapon final with Riggs vs Murtaugh.
Welcome back to the royal rumble!!!!
1st Simpsons appearance is April 19th 1987 they looked different as part of the Tracy ulman show. Their official 1st episode was December 17th 1989
4 touchdowns in one game! The hero of Polk High!
it's mach-io. The Simpsons debuted as shorts on the Tracey Ulman Show in 1987.
The Simpson started in 1987 they were on a TV show called the Tracey Unman show. So the Simpson is actually a spin off of that show.
The announcers sitting in water 😂
Rage gives you a finisher immediately! 👍🏼
U r the man
@RickyJSports Thanks so much Ricky, I'll always be proud that I was the one that told you how to pick opponents off of the ground in these games 😂 Look into the paybacks, rage is fun, but so is brass knuckles, low blow, fire ball and poison mist! 👊🏼
You know, seeing as this Rumble had both Arnie and Carl Weathers in it, I'm somewhat disappointed that they didn't round the trio off with a Predator to fight them both.
Eddie Murphy with the bikers was The Golden Child.
U need too do a viewers rumble again lol i love them 😅
Like subs??
I really want to see an 80s cartoon rumble in action but I really want to play as He-Man or Duke
Frank Drebben from Naked Gun
It's a shame they misspelled "Crap" on Ice-T's shirt.
Swayze in Keanu movie was Point Break
What a great rumble
Hi Ricky. I have an idea an arena that's half water half lava. How about all Muppets rumble?
As a lifelong Chicago Bull's fan I do agree that the 1993 Phoenix Suns were one of the Bulls biggest challenges in the finals. However I think a case could also be made for the 1997 Utah Jazz
Yes very close series as well
It’s a dog eat dog world and I’m wearing milk bone underwear. -Norm
Rage means; if you use it, you gain a finisher if you use your whole blue bar. If you are close to a finisher save your rage until close to your next finisher bar.
Thx so much man
This was sickkkkk!
haha thanks brother!
Sees Arnold Schwarzenegger and John Rambo in the ring...
Carl Weathers: "DING... DING!"
Ricky when you use rage you get a full finisher metre. So converting signature bar into a finisher.
Ice T like Jesus he's walking on Water
Its only cheating if you get caught.
- Al Bundy -
and Bobby the Brain Heenan 😊
It would be hard if they actually swam
John Rambo interesting i was hoping for Rocky Balboa
6 minutes into the new rumble season and the Ricky J Curse is on! 😁

An 80s horror movie theme rumble would be awesome Freddy Krueger Jason Vorhees Chucky
Good one!
The 80s sitcom bonanza
Law Enforcement Shows
The never aged movie/tv characters.
The TV wives rumble
the only thing missing is a Killer Shark in the water.
best time on earth was in the 80's....

Mr T I hope is repping
watch Roadhouse with Patrick Swayze and wrestling legend Terry Funk
Lol, the arena is spectacular! I loved it, I too was going for MJ, he Moonwalked his way into the ring and thought he was Dangerous, but he didn't have the right Billie Jean(s) on, so another 80's figure Beat It out of him, & i can only Say Say Say he was ok! Congrats to Norm. I thought Urkel was going to win it? I thought The Simpsons with Bart debut was on Saturday Night Live in the 90's? I don't remember didn't Wikipedia it?
Patrick swayzee and Keanu reeves is point break

if your from Canada how were you able to watch tv shows that were made in the USA back in the 80s
We would get a lot of them. I'm from Montreal and we had CBS, NBC, ABC etc but also some Canadian networks did buy the best shows from the US.
Eddie Murphy can sing brother... He used to record with Rick James....he has a song called party all the time..
When he sang with mj he had an off day
@@RickyJSports 😂😂😂
If only Al would of had Peggy
The Simpsons(the series) debuted in 1989, if I remember right.

Point break was the movie with Keanu reeves. In my top 10 of all time
Hello Everyone reading this.. Ricky j.. love the content brother..Ooohhh Yeaahhj
Thx big brother!!

Featuring a thirty man rumble in a series is one thing; featuring thirty competitors based on 80’s characters is another. And to the surprise of us all, the winner happens to be a man who spent a living enjoying a cold drink at the end of every workday…
Norm Peterson, one of the most popular characters from the hit 1980s television sitcom ‘Cheers’.
Let’s get down to the numbers:
Of the thirty men featured in this bout, only FOURTEEN competitors secured the most eliminations (One man short of breaking the halfway mark). The highest count reached up to ‘6’ eliminations, which is five points higher than the average ‘1’ elimination.
I give the Golden MVP Award for the ‘coolest’ performance to:
Norm Peterson
Winning the rumble is one thing; winning with the highest elimination count is another. While I do not know if this entirely means Norm is the man to win the champions’ rumble, his performance goes to show that he is not to be underestimated. The man’s high weight and strength proved to be great factors in winning his rumble, and perhaps that may be the key to winning the finale.
The Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance goes to:
Doogie Howser, M.D.
And the biggest question of them all:
Who’s next?
U r the best commenter of all time
Suhweet 😂
I'm pretty sure Patrick Swayze was not that skinny
Carl Winslow and Diddy were caught in bed together at a "Freak Off"🤮
😂😂😂😂

Aww man, u should feature a Rapper Rumble. With all the Drake vs Kendrick Lamar going on right now, it'd be time to bring out them classic rappers from the times to stop them from breaking them streets.
