Do you still send a back dated precertification or will you just ask patient to pay the bill?

You can try, but it probably won’t get paid. It’s our responsibility usually to get the pre-cert if needed. If we fail to do that and they don’t pay, you will have to decide if you want to charge the client for that. I personally would not charge them for it.
