There are light spoilers in this video towards around the 8:30 mark (read the chapters on the timeline if you want to skip those). My bad for not including a disclaimer on those...
Are you midnight samurai because of inspiration from captain midnight Or it's just a coincidence Captain midnight does the same thing for western heroes Midnight samurai for the Japanese heroes
You took the words right out of my mouth. I've been reading One Piece week to week since I got out of college 20 years ago. Well done young sir. See you at the end of the adventure!
There were SO many fucking spoilers in that intro for shows Ive never watched and you just fucking ruined the ending too most of them like bro wth. I had too click off the video
Except there are no deep reasons for why they are fighting. They just do. So it is just the fights. Why does Zoro want to be the world strongest swordsman. I dunno some girl? Why does Luffy want to be Pirate King. Uhhh freedom? Oda will probably retcon something interesting I guess.
@@chasinghaze0962 The reason for this statement is just because a lot of people who've havent seen one piece say that the fights suck. Thats why theres this whole meme behind "luffy just punches another villain for the 8657484th time". Because the fights are not the focal point. None of the fights themselves are meant to be taken seriously (with a few exceptions). Its whats behind the fights that matters. And yeah for sure other anime do this. A lot of anime fights have stakes and pivotal character moments behind them. Its just a lot of the time other anime get caught up in the action, where one piece tries to stay away from that.
@@funkeymunkey2991yeah one piece is more than only a battle shonen, but the reasons to fight are just the same kind of reasons of any other battle shonen. Only that in one piece it repeats every arc, we need to "save/help someone" let's divide, run into an enemy each for every crew member, reach the "big baddy", fight, win. It's very repetitive, but also the main story ( I mean what's happening in the whole world ) it's pretty interesting, whit a lot of secrets and relations with the real world "kind of". So the world building of One piece is good, even tho Oda likes to play with your empathy always making tear-jerking sub stories for every character, giving you a reason to feel some emotions while reading/watching, I think that's pretty smart of him, but when I figured it out, I just get bored again, 'cause not every character needs to have a sad story so you can start to emphasize with it. Well, in other words, I lost my train of thought
@@crustykeycap5670Diluting Zoro’s entire backstory and motivation to, “uhhh some girl” is the most dumbass take of all time. You can’t just just treat freedom, and Zoro’s childhood friend like some random asspull motivation. That would be like saying law fighting doflamingo was just “another fight” or Asking why was law fighting, and just saying “Uhhh to destroy the smile factory and weaken kaido.” It’s the same thing you’re doing where you’re trying to label it as something less meaningful than it is. It’s wild you got it in your head that it’s ok to disregard all the writing that went into the backstory and try to reduce it to only a small part of it. If you say, “There are no reasons for them fighting” and then say for zoro’s reason “I dunno some girl” then it’s not that they don’t have a reason for fighting, it’s that YOU aren’t paying attention and YOU don’t know why they’re fighting.
Everytime someone complains about the length of one piece, I cry internally. I’ve been a fan since it began, and a 1000 episodes aren’t enough. I want more of this story.
@@KakarotEdits11 No amount of explanation is enough, unless the person wants us to spoil the entire show, but by then, you might as well Not watch it, because everything was spoiled for you.
@@kamixakadio2441 I'm on Dressrosa arc rn I've been spoiled abt Luffys fruit and he is joyboy and a lot more I was also spoiled about ace death but I still cried when it happened (not rly crying but I was on the verge of it)
It is a massive herdle and I the length can be daunting even when 100 chapters in. But, they shouldn't write it off cos of its length. For me, I always so that length and was baffled but I eventually watched it cos I was interested. They'll prob be ready when they're ready. And if they never are, sucks to be them
I have just FINALLY convinced one of my friends to watch this show. She was questioning why I would watch a stupid show like that, and I just said. “Why don’t you watch it and see for yourself?” She’s on episode 450 and she started four months ago. Absolutely loves it.
i rewatch the whole anime whenever i don't know what to watch and though i know what's coming i have the same emotions every time. and with merry it's the worst... i have tears in my eyes as soon as water 7 starts... to me that just shows what a great show it is. i've rewatched other anime as well but they all kinda get boring when i've seen them once. but i've watched one piece way more than 10 times by now (don't judge me) and even though i know exactly what happens next i still enjoy it and it's still a ride and i still get all the emotions like the first time.
I highly recommend you watch One Pace. As far as I'm concerned, watching the whole anime again is actually doing yourself a disfavor because of how stretched the battles and epsiodes are. One Pace has been an absolute blast thus far, battles and scenes actually feel less distracted, as well as more intense and impactful. It's still One Piece, just without the unncessary stretching.
@danisaksson3214 I understand your point so to be precise I am not going to watch one piece again immediately after its over. But, after a certain time may be 10 to 15 years later. Which makes you understand the story in different way as you see it in different way as compared to watching first time.
This is one of the best One Piece persuasion videos I've seen. Very clear, straight to the point, and includes the key talking points of what makes One Piece so wonderful. HOWEVER, I think you should have this as the "spoiler version" and make another version of this video but cut out the spoiler content such as the death of Merry. I would love to send this video to friends to help convince them to watch the show, but I don't want them to get spoiled.
Thanks. That’s a fair point I probably should have put a little disclaimer before talking about it but I guess it didn’t register that it was a huge spoiler. Appreciate the love!
Honestly Yes he should but, My experience was spoiled when I original sat down to watch it, and it didn't matter, the impacts still hit hard. What's dne is done, at the end of the day the person whether they're spoiled or not will still love One Piece and will break down during those Emotional moments we all know and love One Piece for. Knowing doesn't keep you from crying and at this point it's pretty hard to avoid spoilers for the show. Telling one person to do Spoiler free content isn't going to change that.
@@Kakachi07 That's very true! I also went into one piece knowing a good amount of spoilers. And it didn't ruin my enjoyment at all! However, the moments I didn't see coming had a different impact. So for any new One Piece fans I would try to limit the spoilers just because it's a different experience. It's not a better or worse experience. Just different.
@@Ja_Crispyyy My best advice for people getting into the series, if you want to stay spoiler free, stay off the internet and out of comment sections and off TH-cam. We can complain about it as much as we like but it's not gonna change, and I myself stay out of comment sections until I finish videos, and I understand I'm at risk of Spoilers if I go to the comment section. It's just common sense if you've been on the internet long enough.
Did you try convincing them with the live-action? It worked for me. I lured my sister into watching it, and before she knew it, she is with me in the Egghead Arc. LOL
I just started, 70 episodes in, no regrets and I will definitely finish. I never wanted to pick it up for the length and also because for other shows and anime’s I never finish them and always get stuck at episode 11-17. Like I was really surprised how I even got to 70 episodes. But I guess this just shows how I really enjoyed this show and I know there’s still a long long way to go and my appreciation will continue to grow. Great video man
Keep going! I did it in 3 months because the story is THAT good and now I caught up with anime/manga and wanted more! (It's easier nowadays than waiting weekly on TV so I have no complaints. Just skip any flashbacks with the right-arrow key lol)
Took me around 6 months to get caught up to the Wano Arc. My advice, dont rush it, take your time. Savour the journey. Believe me. Once your caught up, your literally waiting week after week per episode/chapter. Thats like 52 episodes per year. Its a real slog.
Yep, I got the same story, started around June 2023 and I'm currently at Episode 590 I also just started it because I wanted to give it a try after years and DAMN I got sucked in immideatly, starting One Oiece was definitly worth it, I got no regrets

I started long after the episode 1000 was released. I felt curiosity, to watch at least 20 or 30 episodes and then leave. But here I am at the episode 350, watching the best anime I ever watched in my life.
2:00 Actually, everyone I know that has started One Piece in the last couple of years and caught up regrets it. They regret having caught up, because now they have to wait for new chapters, and the weekly experience, while it has its own charm, can be painful. But none of them regrets having picked up the series, and for most of them it ranks in their top 5 fiction stories, whether they come from an anime and manga background or not. This story is just that good.
I didn’t watch one piece for YEARS. The live action was by far the best anime adaptation I’ve seen and that made me roll over and start the anime. Caught up a couple of months ago. 1000 episodes was NOT ENOUGH. I hunger for more one piece.
@@سماء-ف1ت at the time I had only watched 2 animes, Dbs and JoJo's Bizarre Adventures, jjba was fire and Dbs....I don't wanna talk about it, but basically One Piece was always an anime I had an interest in watching, but just never got around to doing so, but I'm happy to say that it's one of my favorites right next to the original Db and jjba
I've started my one piece journey and a word of advice i have for other beginners is to watch when you feel like it, don't rush yourself to finish a voyage across the sea
When I started watching it a few years ago I would go almost a month sometimes without watching a single episode. Really helps when you don’t feel like you’re just watching it to catch up.
The idea that a piece of art can't be enjoyed just because people doesn't have the patience for it is crazy. I refuse to believe it, I started One Piece back around 2014-2015 and started binging from that time onward both the manga and the anime show, and I never stopped because I knew it was really good. And it took me a while to get used to watching other shows that weren't as good, just something about the plot, the character backstories, the depth within each of it, the foreshadowing, wordplays, symbolisms, everything in it, is just crazy. You won't easily find just any other show like it, and the moment you step into it, you're gonna wish it never ends because it's such a great show. It's a masterpiece of modern literature.
For more than a decade I've been denying myself this experience. And today, my life is completly changed for the best, the moment I started watching this show and reading the manga. I have no words to thank Oda for this amazing contribution to humanity.
I started watching One Piece a little while ago and while I’m only on Alabasta, I’ve seen so many spoilers. Even though I’ve gotten spoiled about the best scenes in the show, I won’t stop watching it. This show inspired me and showed real life lessons that are very important, even though the spoilers have gotten to me, when I reach those scenes, I will have the same amazing reaction as I did when I get spoiled.
I started reading it on July 1st, 2023, and caught up on February 8th, 2024. It took me six months, and it was THE BEST SIX MONTHS OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. Got Nami's second tattoo during my reading early on because of the significance to her character. After years of struggling to get into it, reading it was the best decision I ever made. I'm going to start watching it all very soon!
Hey man, as a 41 year old Dad who’s 10 year old son finally convinced him to watch One Piece, I am a lifer now. I loved anime before but was definitely put off by the length of it. It’s honestly become one of my favorite pieces of media ever. Also, great video. You really did an excellent job laying out your points and backing them up. Props.
I am only up to ep 1035 and I am so glad to be apart of the One Piece Community, and I am glad my Boyfriend has joined the ride, I have paused my own One Piece Viewing just to go back and watch it with him and He's loving it and he's only up to ep 349 and I want to get him up to date by the end of this year, which i think is do able
@@banonKING ok, I remember I used to wait like a couple of months to binge watching it and catchups including reading it since then. I did this for 20 years. Now, since final saga started I started reading it weekly.
There is going to be a time in the not so distant future where people are just going to google what is the One Piece? It’s going to be different. People will forego one of the greatest stories ever told because it’s too long, in an age where people’s attention span is getting shorter I crave things like One Piece. Give me everything that the world has to offer.
I remember watching the first One Piece episode for the first time, I was in bed the 20th of october of 2023 and before turning the lights off I told myself that I cannot truly be a person that dislikes One Piece if I've never watched it. After watching it, my first thought is that it's really not that bad. I eventually watched every single episode of the show and enjoyed every single one, even the ones that compose the arc Skypea and Long Ring Long Land
My best friend has always been a One Piece fan since I met him. I had watched anime before but didn't love it, and I had never watched OP. I thought it was too long and I'd never watch it. Out of curiosity I watched the live action when it came out and I liked it, especially Luffy's character is what really drew me in. And I immediately started watching the anime. I just finished watching everything and even caught up to the last chapters of the manga (yeah I spent a looooot of my time on One piece, I just let myself be into the world 300%). And I'll never regret it. It took me some time to get into it and really appreciate the beauty behind it. But now that I watched everything, I feel like it couldn't have been shorter. It's literally perfect like this! It's long, but it never gets boring, and actually gets more and more interesting. To me it felt like going on my own adventure, starting just like Luffy, knowing nothing about the world and slowly realizing how huge it is
When I say one piece is vast and deep, I mean really really deep. Not only the story itself, but also the characters. Everyone in one piece all got their stories and it’s just so amazing how they connect to so many stuff and other characters. It’s almost like everything and everyone is connected in one piece…
I'm a huge latecomer to One Piece. I only started to watch it when I watched the live-action on Netflix. After watching the live-action, I decided to watch the Anime. I'm only up to around episode 572, and I have to agree that One Piece is worth watching. I liked it from the very first episode.
I started watching between Wano ending and Egghead starting, caught up, read Eggheag and omfg yeah it's the best story I've seen and it's still going strong.
Great video. Well edited. Well organized. BUT. The title and content implies this is for people who haven't really gotten into One Piece. BUT YOU GIVE AWAY ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT CHARACTER FAREWELLS IN THE WHOLE SERIES!
@@midnight_samuraiino it isn't about the disclaimer, I personally feel like it shouldn't be there at all. rest of the video is good enough to drive the thoughts home for most people. that just feels too pushy or redundant, imho. especially for those who have no acquaintance with this series.
i was also a hater at first and my only reason was it was so long but i got bored one day and started the manga. The first chapter got me hooked! Its now my favorite anime and I will defend to anyone who had my initial issue which is "It has a lot of episodes". Loved the video! Got to board all the people while its sailing, right?? Thats all one piece fans' mission. Well made and said!!
The show is not about fights, it’s about the characters and the world it takes place. I love it since episode 1, it’s a adventure, it’s funny and it will make you cry multiple times
Currently at episode 437 and I’ve cried so much with this show it’s kinda funny for me how I thought this was a comedy and suddenly made me realize how my interpersonal relationships are not trying enough and how we all suffering from the same issues in One piece. Unfairness, hatred, control, and society killing dreams. It’s so good ;-;
Started reading manga about 18 months ago. Then about a year ago I started the anime and am fully caught up on both and eagerly awaiting the next chapter and episode. Its worth it.
I'm 63 episodes in through the last month, I'm loving it. Not trying to grind and crush through it, just going at a steady pace. 10 episodes here, 3 episodes there. Not watching when I don't feel like it, sprinkle other shows in to take a break, and pick back up when I want to watch more.
i was someone who was intimidated by the length of the series, but once i started it i couldn’t get enough !!! i’m absolutely obsessed now it’s such an amazing story. i don’t want it to end
i have enjoyed watching one piece . Been watching it since almost 1.5 years I am still at episode 943 and donot want to catch up but can't stop watching it
I was one of those who felt it was long. Then in Nov 2021 began watching and by May 2022 i was on 990 episode. It was a good journey and I'm a big fan now. It is not a long series, it is short.
Finally started this year after years of my friend talking to me about One Piece constantly throughout our whole friendship. I watched the Live Action more out of curiosity since everyone said it was a good adaptation, and I got hooked and started the anime and bought the first few mangas too. I just finished the East Blue Saga yesterday, and can't wait to continue. I laughed and cried so much even though I knew most of the backstories because of Live Action I havent felt so strongly about a story since I was 10 and read Harry Potter for the first time.
I was never really a fan of anime, but one of my favorite streamers always talked about it and I started watching it and immediately got hooked on the series. I think it took me a year to catch up, and each week I look forward to the new episode along with a new manga chapter.
one piece is one of those shows that even if you just started watching it, by the time your all caught up and then the one piece is revealed you'll feel like you've been with them the whole time
I hate how I was such a little btch before. I was just riding the op hate train going “That sht still ongoing? Lol” “I’m never watching it, it’s too long” because I was scared of 1000+ eps.
As someone who’s watched the anime twice and just caught up to the manga, making it 15 years of this great adventure to inspire me and my friends to do our own road trip soon. There couldn’t be a better time to get into it than right now.
The saddest part for me is how many people are now alive who will only realize after One Piece ends how much it would've impacted their lives to be able to live through it in real time as the story progressess. So many brush it aside, only to be likely very disappointed after the story is over and they can not be part of the hype anymore.
Almost 20 years ago I started One Piece and been week to week since 2006. Its been a great journey and seeing younger fans get into the series is another sight to behold. I'm 37 at the moment so this series has defined a lot of my adult years.
Dude, I started in January 2024 and I’m already at the alabasta arc, it’s so fun and emotional. I actually cried at choppers backstory in the drum kingdom arc
Dude u just make my heart melts...I was always told my friends (who are not otaku) to watch one piece. But just bcuz of the length (1000+ ep) they didn't give a second chance to it. One Piece is one of those series that I will never forget in my life... Like Naruto,Dragon Balls,Pokemon,Violet Evergarden & Death Note.... Man these are masterpiece for me... I have watched almost 29 anime series... But these are always on top no matter what... Dude when Naruto & Pokemon ends I cried a lot... Not by my eyes that much but by heart that day felt like everything is over...and I never thought that ..I will experience that feeling again... But One Piece just proved me wrong... Its really a masterpiece.🔥🔥🔥 Tnx for this video I was always looking for a this kind of video to show it to my friends (who are not otaku)... At first I thought I will make one video... But your's just... Amazing... Nice job man.....
I'm starting Enies Lobby today, I've never watched any anime for longer than 100 episodes (american series like Adventure Time and Steven Universe being the exception). I'm at 264 and I have 0 regrets, It's been totally worth it
As someone who just became a one piece fan in like early August and am fully caught up I can say, it was so worth it. It took me up to January to fully catch up and man that was a legendary. I've every experienced so many emotions in one story in such a short time. If I hear binks sake at the end and them all celebrating when they accomplish their dreams I might genuinely cry. (and I don't cry to most media) Point being even though I haven't been a fan for that long I got invested so quick to the point by Nami's help me made me know I'm gonna watch this till the end.
Couldnt agree more. I got into the series in 2020 (I think) I was revisiting Naruto and Bleach, and remembered one piece never clicking with me. Except I remembered after that i read impel down and marineford cuz it was in shonen jump magazine back in 2010 and found some of it interesting. Always wrote it off for its length. I started it that summer and I've watched the whole anime and read the whole manga multiple times. Saw Film Red in theatres when that came out and I've seen that many multitudes of time as well, now. Have it on Blu-ray. Love Uta. I love this series so much. It's so damn good.
I started reading just before the live action series came out. It took me 7 month for all 1106 current chapters, at a relaxed pace and it was worth every second! Watch/Read it and experience one of the best stories you will ever consume :)
I'm a fan since I started watching in 2014. I recently started to rewatch (again), I listen to a lot of OP analysis, I started reading the manga (again). No regrets. Never. I always and ever recommend starting this series. PS: educated Lit teacher and soon to become Classics PhD.
I started watching One Piece because I was bribed by my sister to watch it. She became a fan just a year before then. This was 2015 and at that time, the Dressrosa Arc was ongoing, and I distinctly remember that the latest episode when I finally caught up was Bartholomew helping Robin go up the Sunflower garden. I didn't have much enthusiasm when I started but I dove in with an open mind. I liked the story and was surprised by how detailed and complicated and well constructed each story was. It wasn't perfect, because what even is, and some things are just too bizarre to really absorb but the world view drowns you into just going with the flow. I knew I was deep into it when I got to the end of Enies Lobby and up to this day, it just blows my mind that I cried so much over a ship. SO MUCH! This wasn't the first time I cried over something in One Piece, and it definitely wasn't the last, but it was definitely the most memorable because really... a ship. I mean, it's Merry... but still a ship. But I became a real fan when I got to episode 377. "Nothing happened". That put me in such a state of total astonishment. I literally had to stop and take a few minutes to breathe and reconfigure my brain. I knew the loyalty within the crew was solid but that really caught me completely and solidified my decision to see this crew's adventure through.
I am on like episode 869. The first couple episodes drove me crazy because every characters feet were huge!! Like clown feet. But I was still like “eh I’ll give it chance anyways.” The foot thing in the animation went away rather quickly and I was hooked once coby parted ways with luffy and zoro at the beginning. And zoro was just quarry enough of a character with his three sword style that I couldn’t help but watch more.
i used to say the same thing, "its too long, i dont want to watch all 1000 eps". absolutely stupid reason to not watch something, one piece is one of those shows that more you end up liking it, the less you want the journey to end. caught up with the manga and its getting absolutely crazy, so if youre on the fence about getting into it or not, i recommend starting it, once you catch up the current arc might be finished by then.. tho after you catch up youll be in the weekly hell of long running series.
Omg I'm a new One Piece Fan. I love love One Piece. So happy I watched the Live Action which got me into the anime. I'm even contemplating reading the manga. It's amazing.
binge watched the hell out of this series and caught up in 2 months at the end of last year, could not be happier that I got into this series. I LOVE IT, and I'm sad I put it off for so long, I've been trying to convince my friends to get into it! hopefully they finally eventually decide to!
ive started my one piece journey about 6months ago and been watching every moment I could, while at work (easiest job in the world) or at home I kept watching. About 3 months ago I was caught up on the anime so started to read the manga and damnn its soo good.
I started 2 years ago. All caught up and with the manga as well. Tried to watch an episode when I was 11 but the English sounded kiddish to me and didn’t see how stretchy would be interesting. Love the English subbed
I used to joke around saying that I will start one piece during my retirement age but but but last year I finally gave it a try as there was no new good anime around, and am happy I took the best decision of my life!!! One Piece has become like a friend to me. Am taking it slow and am about to start Whole cake arc but am loving this story and Oda senseii!! Indeed a goat anime!
Began watching One Piece again last year in september and became a big fan since. I have tried to watch it all in 2020 but I stopped at episode 100. I saw clips of Gear 5 and saw the live action series. After that I got hooked. I really enjoy the characters, the world they live in and they've really grown on me, which is kinda crazy. Currently at episode 519
New One Piece fans are now more comfortable watching episodes from the beginning without waiting for the next episode impatiently wanting to know the next story, unlike fans who watch the latest episode and then wait for the continuation of the story the following week...😁
I decided halloween of 2022 2 eps a week. Thats all i can do. Dad. Work. Other shows. YT hobby. 2 eps is all i can handle. And im fine with that. Lil over 2X speed. Imma watch ep 136 today. Its been an enjoyable ride so far. Sure ill be behind everyone else but i can live with that. Ill meet everyone at laughtale eventually
I always enjoy getting recommended these types of videos. I get so teary-eyed because I hear the love and passion other people have for the same series I wholeheartedly love.
Its actually insane how quickly this story flies by. I ended up watching all 1025 episodes that were out at the time in just 3 and a half months. There truly is no greater feeling than getting completely hooked on a show like you've never been hooked before, and then realising that you still have over 900 episodes left to watch.
Read the manga ! I caught up Egghead in 3 month ! And now i'm taking my time watching the anime (just finished Enies Lobby). I'm a new fan, the live action made an amazing and digestible introduction to this amazing world and characters !
My only regret is starting the show near episode 900 release I got spoiled if so much like donut boy gears lots of death crew members and more so sad but at least I’ll never be spoiled again IN JUST 3 MONTHS ALREADY CAUGHTUP THATS THE POWER OF THE ONE PIECE
i didnt know if i wanted to reach a point where i have to wait weekly for such a long show. But especially where we are at. Each episode is pratically a mini movie at the quality most episodes are releasing at. Its literally the highlight of every week now and something to always look forward to
To people that didn't watch One Piece yet, 2 things: 1 - This video is full os spoilers. Don't watch it. 2 - Stop wasting your life and go watch One Piece. You are a very fortunate person for being alive at this lifetime, before the discover of the treasure. Don't waste it. Read the manga if you cant stand the anime. No matter if you watch or read it, just do it. Do it before the One Piece is discovered. We just entered the final saga. There is still time.
I started my one piece journey in mid 2022 my older brother who has been a massive fan of One Piece since Dressrosa and I've been extremely addicted to the anime it's a very complex but entertaining story it has its highs and lows but it always bounce back it is a treat if I recommend it but if you have the commitment of watching One Piece you'll be in for the adventure of a lifetime I recommend you start right now BC it's almost at the end.
Great video and underrated channel earned a sub. I’m currently on chapter 614 one piece for me it was ok and Jaya hooked me still i would recommend this series. For me I love the world building of stories the history developed characters etc and one piece hasn’t disappointed
You know what? One Piece is sneaky. I've been watching anime for more than a decade now and got into One Piece around 3 years ago. I had a pretty good idea what I was getting into, knew some spoilers, because being an anime fan for such a long time makes it impossible to avoid some major spoilers, especially when it comes to the long-running titan of an anime that One Piece is. So I thought to myself "right, a shonen, dude with a straw hat wants to find the one piece and become the king of the pirates, predictable, some fights, struggles, death, comedy, tearjerkers and then he finds the seven dragon balls and becomes the hokage, cool". I've been around the block and have seen a fair share of shonen, so I didn't really expect to be smitten - and I wasn't. But I kept going, and I don't even know why, the beginning had me bored. But I braced myself, thinking that there must be a reason why people obsses over it and are willing to even repeatedly re-watch the whole thing. Waiting for the moment I get hooked, I kept going, totally oblivious to how I was holding my breath at Sabaody, rooting for Luffy in Impel Down, crying at Marineford, getting goosebumps at strawhats finally setting sail again. Because before you know it, you're so absorbed in the story that you stop seeing those hundred episodes ahead as an obstacle, it becomes the adventure you look forward to. The moral is - overcome the prejudice you might have about the series and let yourself get engulfed by the charming world Oda created.
There are light spoilers in this video towards around the 8:30 mark (read the chapters on the timeline if you want to skip those). My bad for not including a disclaimer on those...

"the fights aren't about the fights themselves, but why they are fighting" I couldn't have said it any better
That's true but that's literally every shounen ever. I don't know why One Piece gets praise for such basic things
The fact that "After caught up to the one piece, you will want 1000 more episodes"
Maybe if you spent your time consuming other media you wouldn’t need 1000 more episodes 💀

Accurate
Everytime someone complains about the length of one piece, I cry internally. I’ve been a fan since it began, and a 1000 episodes aren’t enough. I want more of this story.
Thats right, we just want more One Piece!
You shouldn't cry
Just explain to them
@@KakarotEdits11 No amount of explanation is enough, unless the person wants us to spoil the entire show, but by then, you might as well Not watch it, because everything was spoiled for you.

“Why don’t you watch it and see for yourself?”
She’s on episode 450 and she started four months ago.

After one piece anime ends i am going to watch it from start to finish again

SAME
I BEEN PLANNING TO DO THIS FOR A WHILE
This is one of the best One Piece persuasion videos I've seen.
LOL
"Right now is the best time to become a One Piece fan" - every One Piece fan since Enies Lobby
But let be seriously, NOW it's the best time to catch up with One piece - Me, at the last arc
And it’s always been true
One piece is a series of a lifetime, it’s a treasure to hold onto when it reaches the ending
Hopefully Oda will finish it. He really needs to look after himself.
I was in your place this past September, now I’m closing in on 850 before I even knew it. Savor the journey, enjoy the small moments.
Give it another sixty and you'll start to wonder how _more people_ aren't fans of this show.
Yep, I got the same story, started around June 2023 and I'm currently at Episode 590
I also just started it because I wanted to give it a try after years and DAMN I got sucked in immideatly, starting One Oiece was definitly worth it, I got no regrets
One piece is a unique paradox where it's both too long yet not long enough
I didn’t watch one piece for YEARS. The live action was by far the best anime adaptation I’ve seen and that made me roll over and start the anime. Caught up a couple of months ago. 1000 episodes was NOT ENOUGH. I hunger for more one piece.

Nah One Piece is crack to me, I can't go a day without watching it.
Props.

Yeah that’s on me. I probably should’ve thrown a little disclaimer in there. Thanks for the love though!
I started One Piece a month ago. Greatest decision I have ever made.
The show is not about fights, it’s about the characters and the world it takes place. I love it since episode 1, it’s a adventure, it’s funny and it will make you cry multiple times
Currently at episode 437 and I’ve cried so much with this show it’s kinda funny for me how I thought this was a comedy and suddenly made me realize how my interpersonal relationships are not trying enough and how we all suffering from the same issues in One piece. Unfairness, hatred, control, and society killing dreams. It’s so good ;-;
I recently started and I just finished Arlong Park. Instead of being intimidated, I'm excited for how much of an adventure I have left.
Man. this video made me happy, excited, sad, cry, and pumped up all within a few minutes. So many memories.
I started crying sometime during wano because I realized it was coming to an end soon 😢 and now I’m crying again 😭
One Piece is the only addiction that I'm keeping
i was someone who was intimidated by the length of the series, but once i started it i couldn’t get enough !!! i’m absolutely obsessed now it’s such an amazing story. i don’t want it to end
i have enjoyed watching one piece .
It's only long for those that don't start.
I started reading the manga a few months ago and am partway through thriller bark. I have zero regrets!
one piece is one of those shows that even if you just started watching it, by the time your all caught up and then the one piece is revealed you'll feel like you've been with them the whole time
i started watching december last year and i just started thriller bark and starting this series was an amazing decision it got me crying over a boat
Got my friend to finally push through the East blue arc and he ran through 400 episodes in 4.5 months. When it ends you rewatch it 😂
I hate how I was such a little btch before.
Converted 3 friends into reading it this year.
Its really a masterpiece.🔥🔥🔥
Tnx for this video I was always looking for a this kind of video to show it to my friends (who are not otaku)... At first I thought I will make one video... But your's just... Amazing... Nice job man.....
Dragon Balls the best show
People don't know how much joy one piece gives me it's just that good. I love the characters so much 🥺
I've been watching one piece for over twenty years now I remember one piece first hit the grand lines lol .. I'm old
I'm starting Enies Lobby today, I've never watched any anime for longer than 100 episodes (american series like Adventure Time and Steven Universe being the exception). I'm at 264 and I have 0 regrets, It's been totally worth it
I used to be someone who said they will never watch one piece there’s no way I’d ever watch 1000 episodes of a show… I finally caught up in December

Im almost at episode 500, after I catch up I'll watch the movies
Omg I'm a new One Piece Fan. I love love One Piece. So happy I watched the Live Action which got me into the anime. I'm even contemplating reading the manga. It's amazing.
Alright, you've convinced me.
binge watched the hell out of this series and caught up in 2 months at the end of last year, could not be happier that I got into this series.
I have started reading the manga about two months ago. Currently reading Skypiea. I'm so happy that I finally gave it a chance.
Exactly. Im caught up and it sucks. lol
Ill meet everyone at laughtale eventually
finally someone said it "It is good from Episode 1"
Its literally the highlight of every week now and something to always look forward to
Started in December. Already up to episode 117.
I'm in Episode 742 right now, I'm close with the Arc of Zo and when we see Sanji's Family
I started reading the Manga. Finished the second Arc. I still a whole ton left to read but by the sounds of it, I have a lot to look forward to.
To people that didn't watch One Piece yet, 2 things:
1 - This video is full os spoilers.
I heard so many people talking about how great one peice was so I gave it a try, I'm on episode 1050 now lol and it is fucking PEAK
When one piece ends a part of me will die😭
After skypiea, i started to read the manga. I'm in enies lobby arc right now, 10/10 🔥🔥🔥
