I would just assume not installing the 03.31.45 for the time being. But how does one stop the annoying update pop-up when turning on the TV?
Appreciate the heads up on this- think I will definitely wait until there is more information on what it’s actually doing!
Updates, Really wish there are two LG C3 screens, one with the firmware came with it. Another one always up date to the latest, see if the colors are gonna change, or system is gonna slow down bit by bit.....because I always think that LG gonna decrease the vibrant colors to the old model than you could get a new "Better" one.
I just installed 13.30.56, skipped the last few updates, because LG updates are scary like you said. I only updated because whatever version I was on wasn’t playing nice with the LG soundbar which LG pushed an update to about 7 months ago. That update was pushed couldn’t stop it and has been pure crap.
So this new update for the C3 hung for a long time on the web OS screen but didn’t do anything funky. Whole new interface on the start up screen, it’s like a Home Screen now and you have to click on what app or device you want every time. Good thing is it didn’t change all my settings. I really really really want to either roll back the update on my sound bar or have them update and fix it…😡lol
Hey, Please upload a video on version 03.31.82.. now this version is pushed for LG G3 65inch TVs.
This update went without any issue on my LG G3... all it took was 10 seconds

Don`t do the update ! After update, CI module stop working , whith the error " The CI module is inserted incorrectly, code 24" LG C3 65" model
My C3 hangs up on restart after over-the-air update for the past 3 updates, and it doesn’t turn normally on unless I unplug it. After plugging it again, it starts up normally and I get the message of successful installation. I had to do this with this version too, so that’s normal for me!
The update for me updated the Dolby Vision from 32.12 to 32.19. Also, TV updated to 03.31.82 from 03.31.46 and WebOS TV Version 8.3.10-3607
lust do a factory reset when installing a new tv. sometimes there a problems when doing not. Like calibration problems or in your case a sw update.
After this update on my oled55c34, my sony wh-1000xm3 headphone won't pairing with bluetooth.

On my 65G3PUA, update went fine, no problem what so ever. during the update or after...
This update forces you to maintain internet connection to continue using the TV, avoid like plague. LG C3 here.
hello, did you install (Version 03.31.82) ? I got the update message today and I am afraid I wont be able to use the service menu after the update with the service remote , I am on 03.31.45 and have all the service menu feature available , don't know if they will still be available after this update , if you did the update please leave a message or video about this update, thank you!
As another data point: updated to this version on a 48C3, used the built in software to download and update. It installs after turning off yourself.

Did anyone notice Dolby Vision Cinema mode get brighter on their G3 after this update or is it just me?
This happened to my 55" C3 on the previous update (downloaded/updated via menu). Scary!
Mine also did the same last update 03.30.76, yes absolutely thought my TV was bust! I think I'll wait on 03.31.45
After the update the Quit App option is no longer working

I’ve just had a notification for 03.31.82 come up on my 77” C3 here in the UK, anyone installed it yet?
I have 65” C3 and my update today is 03.31.82 I’ve not done the update yet as I can’t find anything out about it other than bug fixes

@@phil84761 Wiganer eh, I have memories of your manor from many many years ago, going in the Brick which is long closed now I believe. Funnily enough one of the geezers I knew had the same name as you but sadly he's not with us anymore I was told.
Sorry I digress so back to telly updates, I ain't going to update mine till I have heard this patch is not going to cause any drama. I also told the missus just to decline the notification each time she turns the TV on as she's a bit trigger happy when it comes to updates.
@@charliezobel511 usually I’m a bit trigger happy with updates for things but I’ve not long had the tv and loving it, don’t want to mess it up. Mines stopped with the update notification today 🤷♂️
I moved to Wigan a few years ago, moving from Liverpool, and prior to that Nottingham. Wigan’s a lovely small town, with some good history and of course pies 😂
