My favorite one was definitely the Batman Forever one. I think he lost it because Mason didn't see it coming and the look on his face was just too funny. Would love to have been in the room at the time. I heard James laughed so hard that half his face turned blue leading to the working title of this gag being called Blue Half-face. Blue Harvest of course being the working title of the original 1979 Star Wars movie.
The set up was perfect! When I first heard it, I was like “oh wow yeah I can see how getting in touch with the actual Bruce Wayne character could make someone feel a little depressed…” then when he said “…that actually led to the working title…” I was like “are you kidding me??” Then cracked up for a good 5 minutes
Even tho we can't see his reaction, I imagine that everytime Mason hears the word "blue" or "harvest" at ANY point during trivia, the smile on his face just fades away. 🤣
Batman Forever iteration was the best one ever, I started laughing at "oh I'm so down, I'm so blue..." and cried laughing my ass off when James lost it. No greater joy then cracking yourself up and losing all composure "can we cut, can we cut?" You know he was just hysterical for several minutes while Maso took a break.
In an alternate universe: "The film was heavily inspired by the Strategic Defense Initiative conceived during Ronald Reagan's presidency which was nicknamed 'The Star Wars Program". Coincidentally, Star Wars was the working title for the original Blue Harvest movie."
One of the best bits precisely because is constantly so bad that it becomes good, specially the two batman ones, are my favorites because you can see them coming a mile away
The most annoying thing about this joke is the fact that I can't tell when the real trivia ends and the blue harvest bullshit begins. Like are PARTS of the trivia true or is NONE of it true?

The Val Kilmer feeling blue one literally made me cry laughing because I actually didn’t see it coming
Same and James laughing while trying to say it makes it the best one for me 😂

Yeah that’s gotta be the best one
RIP Blue Harvest and That Guy Who Shouts Rodney
it's heartbreaking
I think an underrated aspect of this bit is using the exact same footage every single time 😂😂😂 that clapperboard 💔💔💔 forever in our hearts
I just imagine Mason's face dropping the instant he hears James utter the words "blue" or "harvest" in any context, on or off the podcast lol
Fun fact: Blue harvest was the working title of original Star Wars
I didn't know that wow.
Ooooooohhhhhhhh!
You're kidding, really?
1979
What?! Where did you get that outlandish idea?
The more genuinely interested Mason was in the "fact", the more of a betrayal it ends up being 😂

“He’s so proud of himself, folks…😒”
Flew Harvest is an underrated gag
The Batman one is legit the peak of this joke, I love it so much
I like when James says mason like a period at the end of a sentence
The way Mr. Sunday Movies cracks up with the Batman Forever one is hilarious.
0:58 Mason's "interesting"
Yeah, we'll see if you still think so 10 seconds from now 😅
In an alternate universe: "The film was heavily inspired by the Strategic Defense Initiative conceived during Ronald Reagan's presidency which was nicknamed 'The Star Wars Program". Coincidentally, Star Wars was the working title for the original Blue Harvest movie."
The Glint in his eye 😂
I really need a video of james face when he reads these, Because mason just knows everytime and i reckon it all lies in the face
It’s funny to imagine the looks on their faces when they get started. Definitely the biggest casualty of them never doing face cams.
Those two Batman Blue Harvest facts are my all time favourites.

" we're did I go wrong, I lost a friend"
More like Booooo-Harvest, am I right!?
Bloody got em mate
Fact of Exhaustive Tedium: Blue Harvest was the working title of Return of the Jedi, 1983
phenomenal outro
Such a good joke and we need to bring it back.
It’s my favourite joke of all time 😂😂😂
Maybe the REAL Blue Harvest were the friends we made along the way

The Batman Forever one is an instant classic but on a rewatch my personal favorite is Flue Harvest
