Diver Tom Daley has been meditating on these different types of pressures recently, so in this chat, he and Fearne discuss the power of validating ourselves rather than waiting for others to tell us we're doing well.
Plus, he explains the process he and his husband had to go to adopt as a same sex couple, and how having a son has changed his view on chasing perfection.

Tom Daley is a British diver who specialises in the 10-metre platform. Daley's career began aged seven when he switched from swimming to diving. Tom represented Great Britain in the 2008 Summer Olympic, being Britain's youngest competitor at 14, and the youngest from any nation to participate in a final. Among other achievements, Daley qualified for the Beijing 2008 Olympics, where he made it to the final in both events and became the youngest-ever British Olympian.
