I loved this game as a kid. I would put the P.O.D. song included in the game soundtrack on repeat while grinding points for unlockables. Also you guys kinda missed on a fun amusement park level in the game.
Never really heard of this game. Seems like one of the "Tony Hawk" games (The "Underground" games were my favorites), but with roller blades. Also for a game that's rated T for teen, it sure included quite an M rated character with "Chrissy", that slutty schoolgirl. Fun episode.
Aggressive inline skating was removed from the X-Games after the various other disciplines (skateboarding, BMX, etc) joined together and threatened to pull their advertising funds unless inline was removed. They resented it after its sudden ride in popularity in the 90s, leading to a bunch of asshole inline kids competing on the same level as other events with more history/development. It's the reason so many skateboarders/BMXers needed to come up with slurs to put down kids who were the same outcasts/weirdos that they were, and tried to teach younger kids to look down on them. The dumbest part was immediately after inline was removed, representatives of the other events held a press conference where they announced they wanted to push parkour as the next big thing. They also mocked inline for 'having tricks with weird names' and 'one of your most famous skaters is a woman (Fabiola Dasilva, who went on to become a model)'.
There was also a much better game (Rolling: The Game) that had more input from the community (instead of something more arcade-y like Aggressive Inline), but the publisher went bankrupt before it could be released in the US. It's about on par with Tony Hawk 3 or 4.
I so fucking love this game so much. I remember when I got it the guy at ebgames saying "why not get tony hawk instead?" I'm glad I didn't listened. Thanks for the memories.

Check out Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure on xbox. It is built on the THPS 4 engine. It is the same game but with a Disney skin.
This is one of those games that don't lend themselves to this show. It needs more time to be appreciated.
