So my mom bought me a N64 for Christmas one year off my neighbor at a great price and my first two games ever for it was ocarina of Time and this game lol. I even beat it after awhile too. The diving through the lasers level and walking around as a waiter stands out in my memories.
This was one of the first games I played on my N64, back in the day. If I remember correctly, that woman really does kill you if she follows you too far into the bathroom - so don't feel too weird about sparking her out. :p

But looking at the N64, I can safely say that it does look like an inferior "Goldeneye 64". Also this game was rated T for teen, and it included punching and woman and heaven know what was going on in that cubical. lol

Sounds like Mr. Paul didn't choose to accept this mission. Inferior to Goldeneye. Annoying jumping controls aside, I did enjoy some of the later missions where you are able to disguise yourself and have freedom to explore a large enemy base, just talking to people and looking around at stuff while you try to sort out the puzzles. Also the sniper and train levels. Hated the warehouse level and the NOC list vault though.

I'm not trying to defend Mission Impossible, it's an awful game, but trying to play it like GoldenEye is absolutely the wrong approach. They were trying pretty hard to actually make a stealth/spy game.
Holy hell I feel up with this game unfortunately and man the control scheme and mission objectives were SO obtuse and unforgiving. I spent forever getting to a few levels in but never beat it. Ffs this game...
Depressing factoid: if you turn on the Turbo Speed code before doing the CIA Interrogation chapter, the game becomes literally un-complete-able, because the turbo speed prevents you from properly hopping over the not-even-waist-high wall of the broken 2-way mirror at the VERY BEGINNING.
I've never met any of you, yet my thoughts tuning in this morning was, "I miss you guys."
