Very interesting video. I would love to do more reading on Dr.Ganesh and her work on the 'hyper-modern society". Could you point me in the direction of her work?

She is on LinkedIn. She wrote an article on hypermodernism in 2020 in Business Horizons

In my opinion, I HATE the idea of dependency on ANYONE, even if it may lead to loneliness.

I feel you. I live alone. I work alone (not counting a 15min shift change). I've lived in this house for 8 years. I don't know a single one of my neighbors. The more people you allow yourself to depend on, the more opportunities you have to let people fail you. Loneliness comes and goes.

@Qrtzzlmnop Look, I recognize that I exist within a society. I just have enough contempt for other people that I choose to minimize my exposure to it.
Let the solar system do it's thing, but I don't care what's happening on the moon, let alone other planets.
I can hang in the forrest, but I don't care about the whole of it, just the tree I'm climbing.
I see the bigger things outside of me. There was a time when I would have engaged with more of what's out there, now I just want to be left alone unless engagement is required to meet my needs.
I tolerate the rest of the world because I know I can't be 100% alone, but I'm going to try to keep it at 90% if I can.
