Mam I have 1 doubt that here u have taken starting bit from 1 left to right so I.e. u are telling signed no. Bit so mam in all shift operations it will be like that that starting from 1 so it is signed no. Bit so it will give negative answer????
Ma'am explained that at the end, in such case what is done is if the MSB value changes then an overflow is detected and the sign - that is MSB value, is reversed after the shift is done. Otherwise, just a shift is done. The point of an arithmetic shift in contrast to a logical one is that the sign of the number must be retained, which means the MSB must retain it's value should it change because of a shift. Ma'am I confused because Arithmetic Right side 10/2=5 here you say 2⁰=1 5/2= when you solve you 2¹=2 and 2⁰=nothing in your last example please clear if you clear in comments or other handle you give me solution
Bcz 11/2 is 5.5 and in this mam told that it doesn't return whole float value instead it just give the whole int value so in your case the answer is 5.5 so the real answer you got was 5 so that is true

and Mam if there is a negative number and we want to left right in athematic shift, then we have take 2's complement as well for dividing -ve number

What about arithmetic right shift performed on binary number with 1 as MSB
