His little crooked smile and personality has ALWAYS been adorable to me. He left a wonderful musical legacy and a beautiful family. RIP Eddie Money and prayers for his family. 😢💙
It would have been great to have this LEGEND around for a while longer. Eddie talked about his life in a refreshingly honest, and 'open as a book' manner. Warts, bruises and all. Love his music deeply..always will. Your music will live in our hearts and minds forever my friend. Thankyou for your music ! ☺🤘🙂
Eddie was a “Gentleman’s Gentleman “ , “A Cop’s Cop”, even when he was at the the top , he was always humble, and treated the person with the most insignificant job like a gentleman, and wouldn’t let arrogant executives talk down to any worker. I was only a Metro Street cop for 3 years, when I worked at an off duty gig in Houston, many cops didn’t know he used to be a NYPD Officer in life 70’s, but like he said, he only left it because he had more passion to music. I was in college & about to graduate with my Bachelor degree, but Eddie told me not to leave it, unless I had more passion for something else, I never did, and I didn’t think I’d be graduating with my PhD, but also retiring from Metro only as a senior corporal street cop, with no authority, and a Supervisor that is 29, while I’m 55, and never promoted from the streets.
Love this interview, and every one that Eddie does! Such a genuine, family loving, kind, compassionate person. Gone too Soon Eddie, you are so missed. Thank goodness for these videos, for a brief moment, ita like you are still here! Thank you for changing my life, and so many others Eddie. Please watch over your beautiful family!!!.
He could have been the leader of the United Nations, simply because he's charismatic, diplomatic, extremely stately. He's like velvet when it comes to cornering him for an interview. And if all rock stars were 10% like Eddie Money they'd always be remembered as extremely talented perfect gentlemen, ”RIP Eddie Money” Texas Boys in Blue, Love our Eternal Police Watch Commander Eddie Money.
I kissed this SWEETMAN BACK IN 1987 when he appeared at Moffet Field Navel Base in mnt view, ca 94040... I snuck up on stage and gave him a kiss, his body guard ask me how i got past him? i reply... i went under you!... it was EPIC
Esophageal cancer killed my best friend from college. What did he have in common with Eddie? That cancer stick that Eddie is holding in his right hand. Sad. Both gone too soon.
ChristopherFrankTV, no they’re right. Eddie Money had esophageal cancer. My sister smoked and she died of lung cancer 13 months after diagnosis. I miss the hell out of her, just like his family will miss him. We all will. Cigarettes are horribly addictive. They suck!
Speaking of roots! 💕m.th-cam.com/video/6Y7xYwUtLNY/w-d-xo.html So happy for you and Laurie and your kids. The joy. The humor. The 🎵 MUSIC! Love ❤️ always, D

Hehe, some great zingers. With five kids, he'll do anything to get out of the house.

Someone should have told him to stop smoking, sad to say he died from throat cancer.
Rest In Peace 🙏🏻
Doesn’t help to say quit smoking....at all. Has to the smoker’s decision.
@@chocloditelensman
His family could have told him that he was going to his grave early, why doesn’t he want to stay around longer for his family.🤔
love Eddie he was so funny
He’s got an impressive personality for sure rip
Geez. Here he is smoking. Lots of cases of throat cancer from smoking. Sad we lost him.
Oh, shut up about smoking. You don't know ANYthing.
ChristopherFrankTV, no they’re right. Eddie Money had esophageal cancer. My sister smoked and she died of lung cancer 13 months after diagnosis. I miss the hell out of her, just like his family will miss him. We all will. Cigarettes are horribly addictive. They suck!
@ you shut up. You don't know anything
@ I knew 2 people with lung cancer that passed away and they never smoked.. Eddie is missed for sure..
A true legend
I didn't realize Eddie Money rules so much.
She hit on him at the end.. lol

God bless Officer Mahoney
Eddie smoking away, passed from throat cancer. RIP.
Eddie lay that nasty ass cigarette down 🤪
Eddie's still smoking (cigs) after all these years. :=(
Those smokes did him in
And helped make Eddie Money a contestant on the September 13, 2019 episode of Celebrity Bucket Kickers.
@@zachhoran Yeah those cigs are the worst. Love Eddie though.
Killed him.
