Strangely, Dan Campbell was the interim coach 10 years ago and now he is exactly what this team needs a hard nose, motivational coach as a Miami Dolphins fan. it is comical how inept this organization is.
The difference between Campbell and Mike is that. Campbell is a leader of men. While He has Ben Johnson who is the guy making things happen in Detroit. His high powered offense is making the Lions win. Because before Ben Johnson Dan was like 3 wins his first season. But that team played hard. He's a leader of men. While he has awesome coordinators at his left and right hand.

Yep, agree. Imagine if he did that in KC with Andy Reid. Pat would just stop throwing him the ball and Travis would've kicked his ass. It's not just the "easygoing" McDaniels who is the problem. The whole team culture - including Tua - clearly isn't tough or accountable.

Trying to be friends with subordinates never works. But Flores was wrong for being tough, though...
literally
Nah that’s on you. If your the leader you put that down day 1. If fines don’t work move to something more severe
Unc, my granddad was the exact same, to this day I'm appreciative 💪🏾! He was putting something in me that I couldn't understand back then
So right about time, setting a tone, being consistent, etc. Because discipline was removed from the schools, lack of Dads in the home, many young men lack discipline and respect. Glad Shannon is at least putting the lessons out there.
The dads that want to be there for their children are.
Love ya Unc for always dropping the truth on ‘em!! 👏🏻
Shannon you haven't said nothing but the truth, I was raised the same way. The coach has no control .
Jimmy Johnson, Bill Parcells, Tom Coughlin...could you imagine??
Unc is old school. I'd love to play for a guy like Mr. Sharpe
Man dont blame McDaniel for Tyreek being Tyreek. Dudes been a jagoff his whole life. Nobody to blame but Tyreek.
“You know about winning?” ocho’s silence spoke volumes.
Yea Mike is cooked, if the teacher loses the classroom you might as well phone it in as well
I thank God for 1961 in that era we were raised to respect an appreciate everything wasn't to many people getting fired you went to work an done your job point blank.
“I wonder what’s gonna happen if I don’t take this trash out” lmao I was cracking up mann. Bc that’s how it was w my pops 😂. I didn’t even sneak to the corner store bc I was scared someone would see me , that I might not even know, and tell on me haha
Better get that yard mowed. I know that feeling! LOL
Unc got me rolling when he said “How’re you late, WHEN YOU’RE ALREADY THERE?!?” 😭🤣
I'd wager good money that McD went in, day one, and said to the locker room "alright, I'm gonna let y'all self-govern. The captains will punish, reward, lead the team."
NOW he needs to go in day one and say "the experiment failed. I'm in charge now"
boom
Hey San Francisco will gladly Take Saleh and McDaniels back as their Offensive and Defensive Coordinators.
He'll probably gotta do that at his next coaching job because I don't think those guys respect him
I was born and raised in Miami and have been with the dolphins 🐬 since 1980 and this is the 1st time in my life that I’ve decided not to take their BS anymore! Go Ravens !
The Miami Dolphins as a organization is a complete mess from top to bottom from the owner to the head coach.
Lol I even said as much when we had him after Gase fiasco. Then we had to play DEI code and "hire" the black man sad that we can't just hire the best person for the job no we have to look at skin color first and hire the token hrmm.
@@MichaelMyers386the Rooney rule is a joke. You should never hire or interview someone based on their skin color
Come on man. Between Dallas and Carolina. It doesn’t compare mane🤷🏿
6:58 When UNC said "practice!". All I thought about was Allen Iverson's press conference and he said this..."We talking about practice. Not a game. Not a game. Not a game. We talking about practice. Not a game. Not the game that I go out there and die for and play every game like it's my last. Not the game. We talking about practice, man." 😂😂😂
Bet Tyreek was onenof those players always late!
That's why he was speeding thru that construction zone and acted like the officer was in the wrong. When in fact he was CLOWN
Yep, agree. Imagine if he did that in KC with Andy Reid. Pat would just stop throwing him the ball and Travis would've kicked his ass. It's not just the "easygoing" McDaniels who is the problem. The whole team culture - including Tua - clearly isn't tough or accountable.
You are absolutely right, being on time is respectful and common courtesy to everyone else involved. I’m 73 and those “rules” are deemed “suggestions” anymore it seems.
4:52 some of the ones with the C are the ones late
Kinda funny how the media raved about how an offensive genius and playcaller Mike McDaniel who was being held back by his quarterback. While people who actually turned on the TV and watched the Dolphins play for 3 hours knew he was a mediocre coach.
💯
HOLD UP,,,THOUGHT MIKE MCDANIEL WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THIS COACHING GURU!!!
TUA BASICALLY DEMONIZED BRIAN FLORES & STORY CAME OUT THAT BRIAN FLORES WAS TOO TOUGH ON THE GUYS,,,,NOW LOOK AT WHATS HAPPENING!!!!
Discipline shows up on the field every time culture is a presence on the field and the way the season went for more than half the teams in the league this year tells us why the 2024 season was trash
Nobody in their right mind ever thought that lil geek was gonna be able to control a NFL locker room
Exactly
Lmao @ lil geek
Hey San Francisco will gladly Take Saleh and McDaniels back as their Offensive and Defensive Coordinators.
😂😂😂😂😂 "lil geek"
💯💯💯💯💯💯
Between the super permissive, “friend” environment that children are raised in, unsupportive GM’s, and intrusive owners……it would seem that college coaching is THE way to go. You might make a few more dollars, but you have ZERO authority. Lombardi, Landry, Noll etc. are rolling over in their graves.
They're not gonna respect him!
These players are mad disrespectful. I bet they also do that “No Contact” on “their time” and block his number too.
The more Chad talks. The more you see why he never won a Super Bowl
Facts!!!
He protects all the players smh
" how you late when you're already there." That's some Friday stuff. 🤣🤣🤣☠️💀
It’s not about losing, Chad.
McDaniel has that cool substitute teacher energy. No one respects him until the actual teacher comes back. This team needs a vrabel
They need a Jimmy Johnson or Don Shula.
Ocho has an allergy to standards. This is why Ocho was just really really good, not great. Because he doesn't appear to believe in doing the little things.
Naw bro he was great he just wasn’t megatron moss Larry fitz T.O no shame in that💯chad Steve smith are a tier below some of the best to ever do it in there era
I swear you people think you know everything.
Let’s be honest OCHO is below average intellectually and had his own fair share of issues of standards.
Losing magnifies everything. The problem is Mike Mcdaniel, the standard was set the moment he allowed it one time.
I mean look at him lol
One of my favorite LIFE segments you have had, in awhile. Thank you, friends
You know its bad when you catch yourself as a dolphins fan watching more Bills games then Dolphins games
Miami though they could beat the Bills lol
@ yeah they definitely did and I didn’t expect them to beat the Bills at all but I will still root for my team even though its hard to watch rn
You are 100 percent right. Accepting what has been going all along now it's an issue when they are losing and not making the playoffs. Hill took the money 💰, probably wished he stayed with Mahomes.
Daniel's NEEDS to lay down that Vape pen(THC) and GET AHOLD OF HIS TEAM but it may be to late already. I feel for ya dolphins fans. If it isn't one thing it's another it seems.
It’s nicotine bro not THC. You really think he’s smoking weed during a game and no one cares ? Lol it’s still cringey to do but it’s def not THC
@MayorWilliesSideChick4prez idk bout games or not but dude talks like he is out of it most days . Like he is one of the fellas all chill and loose. Coaches gotta have ENERGY AND FIRE! DEMAND RESPECT with authority while being respectful and educational. Lead by example whatever that may be. Idk I hope for Miami fans he gets that team together because they been to much talent and nothing to show for it last few years now players ready to leave that isn't good. Miami fans deserve a winner after all the years at the bottom. They had a contending roster but didn't contend nor reach the playoffs that's bad.
Ocho looks sleepy
Ever since Tua threw Brian Flores under the bus, and gave Big Props to McDaniels, Dolphins been going thru it,..Starting with Tyreek incident before week 1.. KARMA hitting,...Flores has his defense ballin, and in the playoffs😂😂
I'm bs we Miami went 10-7 11-6 and 8-9 B2B playoff appearance and last year tua played every game wyta? Then in B2B years waddle Hill and mostert all top 3 in their respective areas or higher. What Miami team you been watching the hot takes from asshats like cowherd etc?
Also viking will be 1st Rd exits
The coach looks like he parties with the players 😂😂
these players Generation Z. Their parents cannot even tell them what to do,
Unc dropped some Gems on this one
Mike McDaniel makes a better offensive coordinator than a head coach, because of his personality.
Great honest assessment!
Don't like my comment y'all keep it movin!
As a Miami dolphins player. Theirs crash outs every other day in that locker room
He's the wrong guy to be a coach, too soft and nerdy looking. Need a tough minded guy like vrabel
A football guy not an analytics expert is what they need forsure Vrabel should’ve been had a job
Not every team wants a tough-minded head coach. Besides, that just doesn't sound right
@AyoJC What's wrong with an analytic expert. Sounds like y'all complain too much 🙄🙄🙄😒😒😒
@Kings0424 you need someone to set the tone for these younger guys now....when you listen to Mike McDaniel what kind of a tone do you hear? Come on man lol
@BigJoe5.0 Okay so what. Not every coach has to be the same
It’s always a bunch of players down there that get fined for being late to work, nothing new…they go out to the club at 2AM
Best tirade about being late ever.
"How are you late when you're already there"-Unc 😂😂😂
Shannon said your right coach, go ahead and take it!! ✊🏾
Love the show - getting a contact buzz just watching ocho lmao
That pic of McDaniel in the thumbnail though 😂😂😂
You gotta use leverage you have if fines don't work, put them on the bench.
Lmaoo. Should’ve never gotten rid of Flores
💯💯💯💯💯💯
Better hot take is we should have never sent Dan Campbell to Detroit hmmm........
