    Hi Mam, Thanks for providing detailed explanation so nicely. Thank You. Can we implement the same process for bore water ? Please let me know. Thanks again

      Does not require all steps. Borewell water may have more hardness and TDS depending on the soil.

    Actually when the plane chlorination is done, after sedimentation or filtration?
    Can you please share the reference?

    • @RevathiPurushothaman
      @RevathiPurushothaman  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Chlorination as a disinfectant, is done after the filtration. But prechlorination can be done before filtration or even sedimentation to remove the fats, oil and grease contaminants. The content is not a reproduction of a single reference material. It was also taken from international standards and also the US standards. That is why prechlorination is given as optional step.

      This is how you fill even for rain water harvesting. Only then if the pores or voids are blocked, it is easy for us to scrap few inches of fine sand and fill with new bed

      UV treatment will work well even with large quantities of water, but it will not be suitable for turbid water and it is also expensive compared to chlorination. That is why it is not popular in developing countries.
