  • We've always wanted to see what Alila Bangsar is like. Heard about it a lot and so finally we did it. Plus Alila just fits into
    our re-qualification for this year.
We were upgraded to the Premier Room during our stay back in April here. First impression : A very japnese minimalist zen garden theme that surrounds every design. The wood and earthy tone certainly appeals to me.
However, this caught me by surprise though. All the restaurants here at the hotel are third party operators. Independently coexist with the hotel component. But given the hotel only operates 6 floors and have a total of 143 rooms, it probably make sense. And the food is actually not bad.
I love the interior of the room. It kinda reminds me one of our top picks last year. The Shanghai Edition. The design has a lot of similarities. However, this is probably just me, (YES, I've admitted many times that I've been spoiled) the partition designs of the room. I get many hotels also use centralized airconditioning. But just probably the design of the room and bathroom. I get the aesthetic of it and all. We love our room cold. And that would probably means that the bathroom is also ice cold now with that design. But on the whole, the experience was pretty good.

alia is probably the best serviced condo in whole klang valley, only second to Ruma. The only downside is for people like me who love bathtub haha..
