We are in Phi Phi now but we are of to Laos in a couple of days then heading of to Cambodia after that. We are heading to Sri Lanka in A few months so I'll be watching for pointers.

Just watched your Laos vlog. Looks super cheap. Is it better to use grab for transport over there.
Transport was the only thing we struggled with there, I'm not sure if grab is available there, the tuk tuks were quite expensive and seemed to be the only method of transport other than hiring a scooter. I didn't do a lot of research on transport before I arrived unfortunately. Hiring a scooter is a great option because the roads are very large and the traffic is not crazy like some other parts of SE Asia. I'm sure there would be some apps to like grab or similar if you google it. just in-case you're not into hiring a scooter@@josephanliztravel

If you say Phi Phi don is crowded in terms of stay options, what part should we stay if we are planning to stay at Phi Phi for one night?
Loved your video, and yes it’s definitely difficult to choose whether to take a one day tour to these islands or stay for the night!
the crowds depend on what time of year you visit, also it depends if you're looking for a party atmosphere or something else. Check out some booking sites and click the map so you can see where the hotels are, you should stay a night or 2, you won't regret it

I am visiting soon. If i am staying in phuket old town, would it be better to take 1 full day trip from there to check the islands (koh phi phi, maya bay, bamboo island) or it s worth to stay on koh phi phi for 1 night?
I'd recommend to stay on phi phi for a night or more, if you take a tour and you also like snorkelling, make sure to choose a tour that includes snorkelling, that was my highlight of the tour.
How to book phi phi tour in advance ?
Just type that into Google, lots of websites will come up where you can make a booking. Just be careful to check the price is good by checking multiple websites to compare
