Finally something cheap. Hope I will not miss the viewfinder too much. I'm getting my nex5 tommorow. Got it for 124USD with a kit lens 18-55. I was hunting for lx100 or other Panasonic as my main camera is fz1000 (it will still stay for animals and planes), but the prices were too high.

Had this model since on sale but it's not working properly now. After turn on it shows "camera error". Mine is already v.5 firmware and don't know how to solve this issue. And when it works without "camera error" on screen and when press shutter button, it's always turned black screen with very loud shutter sound and freezed.

That’s super cheap for a lens. I would check out the Viltrox 20mm f/2.8 lens. It’s very good for the money, and has AF. @@kraigpruettthis might be sacralidge, but I have some old canon lenses around the house from family members. All I need is my adaptor to come and I should be set 😂 Just wish there was a small rig cage for it as my hands are a little large

Just done firmware update from v1 to v5 without a problem on windows 11

Probably a bad shutter. If the camera can record videos no issue but can’t take a photo it’s probably a bad shutter.

Kraig, I have the Sony NEX 5 and today I found out that the tilting screen can be adjusted. It can be tilted down for a top down view.

It's a good camera, started with this many years ago. But wow it has some overheating issues when doing video.

hi, i was wondering why my bottom button which is supposed to be for iso is for shoot tips?
Go to Setup -> Soft Key B setting -> change from "Shoot Tips" to "ISO". If that doesn't work make sure you are shooting in manual mode.

No... because I would never use this camera for action photography. Too slow of AF and continuous shooting speeds.

@@craigrocksitif you can buy for cheap an LEA2 or 4 and some old Sony/Minolta lens, the adapter give Phase AF on the body, and it's amazing

😂LOL. Everybody knows that you can control the speed of the video by clicking on the 'Playback speed' and set it to 0.75 😂
