I tested last wk. I didn’t feel like I failed but I felt neutral. I felt like I knew most of the info but the questions were tricky. I had 98 questions. Did the PVT 2x and got the good pop up both time. 48 hrs found out I passed. LPN to RN 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🎉🎉🎉🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

I took my NCLEX-RN yesterday at 1pm. I came out of it feeling exhausted, relieved, disheartened, and confused. I can't bring myself to do the Pearson Vue trick as I don't want it to give me false hope since I feel like a complete failure right now, but this video has made me feel slightly better - so I just wanted to say thank you.

Hi! I wrote the RExPN in Toronto yesterday and when I left, in tears, I was overwhelmed with doom and felt like I had failed and badly! I literally was searching online to find something to try to make me feel better and I found this video. Thank you so much for explaining how this type of exam works, why the first questions are so important and that as long as you do well enough at the beginning you can even feel like you got 50% wrong and still pass. It made me feel a lot better. Then….. last night 5 hours after I left the exam and 4.5 hours after I got the email I did the Pearson vue trick and I got the good pop up!!!! I felt like it couldn’t be right because I did so poorly. But this morning at 4am I got the official email to review my results and I had in fact passed. Not entirely sure how lol but who cares I passed and that’s all that matters!!
Thank you again for sharing this video. It really did help me to understand and feel a lot better.

I took the NCLEX-RN today, I personally didn't feel stressed/anxious walking into the testing center, but how I felt walking out was a whole different story. I stopped at 60 questions, and I didn't feel that confident about the test so I walk out thinking I must've totally flunked it. I did the PVT and got the good pop up but I'm still praying for the official results to say I passed🙏🏼
p.s. I recommend wearing a surgical mask instead of a fabric-face mask while testing. I did a trial test run using a homemade face mask and it only gave me a headache. Testing-wise, I felt ok with the surgical mask and wasn't as distracted.

I'm sending this logical explanation to my whole cohort. This test does make you feel like a failure when compared to our prior experience, When a question comes up and you are grappling with even understanding the fundamental disease process, things like the decision tree and ABC become sort of secondary to the fact that you haven't yet decided what the trajectory of the illness might be. Sit up straight and put on the big girl attitude. Don't freak out. Nurse up! Listen to the man: you might get half of these questions wrong. They want to make sure you aren't a total moron. Period. If you passed your exit exam, spent some time practicing your test taking strategy, you can do this.

Just took mine today and like so many others, I felt horrible walking out - surely I failed! I can't remember the first few questions! Hopefully I did okay - I don't know anything about the PVT that I keep reading about in other comments, so I guess I'll just wait for my results. This video, however, did make me feel better. I was searching the internet after taking the test to see if anyone has ever failed when the test stopped early. Then I came across your video. I do feel better, just anxious to see my results. Thanks again for posting!

Enjoying these videos...should have looked for them sooner. My spouse just took hers in PA. It cut her off at 75. In my opinion, and kind of based on your video, I don't think she failed. For her to fail, she would have completely tanked. Given the amount of prep work she put in, and her general feeling afterward, a 75 cutoff was good. She said she did have a good amount of SAA questions which concerned her, but time will tell.

Unpopular opinion… I knew most of the answers! Shut off at 75 and got the good pop up!!! I honestly think it just depends what topics you get.. it’s either you know the material or you dont… literally to every detail (thanks to simple nursing and Kaplan) and know how to prioritize patients (thanks to mark k) you’ll be set! I definitely would recommend kaplan and archer! Kaplan was 100x Harder but when I was taking the test I was so used to SATA and higher level questions I just felt like I was taking another Kaplan exam but easier

Don't be scared! I passed 2/17 in 77q's using ArcherReview as well. I got 1 passing CAT assessment and probably 10+ high likely chance of passing readiness assessments.
I say this to say, I'm sure you have your content down, your testing strategies on lock but I suggest the week before your exam MANAGE YOUR STRESS AND ANXIETY if you experience it. My last 7 days of studying I treated every assessment like the real thing meaning; I did every assessment at the same time as my scheduled test (1pm every single day), I used earbuds and a white board just like what is permitted on test day. I did each assessment in silence, at a desk, on my computer. This way on test day, I did not feel like I was taking a board exam lol, I felt like I was in my dining room doing another Archer assessment!
DO NOT STUDY THE DAY BEFORE. I relaxed, hung out with my BF, got a massage, a pedi and treated myself to frozen yogurt lol. When I say test day was the most mellow I have ever been right before any exam is an understatement and it was because of this that I was able to keep my composure throughout the exam, especially when I came across content that I felt I did not know. Before I knew it the exam shut off at #77 in under a hour.
Do not doubt yourself, just remember you put in the work and this will be the easy part to showcase tha. Keep your anxiety and stress under control and you will pass with flying colors! Good luck🙏🏾♥️

You won’t but if they are hard questions you might guess that you’re doing well and getting a good bit of questions correct in order to keep seeing hard questions

@@mimi.561 typically SATA and priority questions are difficult. Simple fact based questions and math questions are easier because they don't make you critically think as much.
