I got a lot out of this video. Thank you very much. :)
You're very welcome!
I’m always having trouble with composition. Your tutorial is so clear and helpful…I can’t thank you enough!
Happy to help! If you can get composition down AND even more importantly VALUE, it will so help in your artwork. I think I saw a message from you on my email? I'll respond shortly. I have a mentor session today so am a bit behind in my responses!! Take care
Hi Cheryl and members I have just joined because I love using the colour black and stencils with my mix media. Cheryl can you let me know who sells stencils like oblong windows please?

thank you for watching and commenting!!
Great job on the painting and talking, i could definitely only do one or the other! I love that last painting too. Were you using acrylic ink or high flow for the black?
I laughed at the thought of the struggle of talking and painting, it is SO HARD!!! On that last one, it was the High Flow. The inks are just as nice, but I love the large bottle of the High Flow as opposed to the tiny acrylic ink black!!
Yes i need to get a decent size bottle of black, so the high flow will be my next purchase. I’m intrigued by golden’s Bone Black, which seems to have slightly brown undertones, so maybe that!
I have to do an order today on more tub of white and a black high flow!!! It is expensive, but better than a pair of new shoes!!! haha
Cheryl what type of paint was the yellow and orange in the small bottle?
They are FW Acrylic Inks. Thank you for watching.
Composition is the hardest thing to comprehend. When i start adding objects to all 4 points, it gets convoluted.
Is it necessary to have something everywhere?
no!!! I do many paintings with a simple minimalist mark. It tends to become intuitive. I do not always play by the rules.
Thank you!@@CherylWilsonArt
This is so helpful! Composition seems so confusing and an issue for me.
it is hard and a continued learning "thing!" If you can get this and value under your belt, it is huge
