Adam mate, this One pan meal type of dish is just what needed for working people. Bobs your uncle and dinner is on the table. Smashing good dish. Linda was just watching and she loves this idea. Looks like i will be eating this some times this weekend. Did you get a gravy from the cider de-glazing? Cheers Buddy
Thank buddy! You don;t get much of a gravy, more of a sticky glaze that coats the dish. You could add a touch of chicken stock if you want some sauce or make up some gravy. 😉
@@Adam_Garratt I really enjoyed your video and that one pan sausage dinner looks absolutely delish! Are you a Chef or other "kitchen professional"? I was curious when you said that you left your bigger pan at work. I'm Canadian (I live in Nova Scotia) and we have quite similar one-pan dinners here in Canada. I'd love to know which 'cider' you used...was it apple cider or..?? Yes, @ Mr Krasker - you could/should use either chicken or beef stock if you want a little gravy or a bit of sauce. @ Adam Garratt: I apologize if I "took-over" your response to Mr. Krasker's query. It's just that I've been cooking for almost 51 years and have learned & used a few tricks myself! ;-) I'll be trying this/your one pan sausage & potato (and peppers ^_^ ) bake very soon! :-)
If I added in other vege like mushrooms and broccoli would it be for the same time in the oven? Is there any good gravy recipe to go with it? I will make this dish but without the cider since i dont have any.
Hi adam done this was awsome did change spuds for granny Smith's roasting potatoes in duck fat and cause a dont like cider a used a bit of white wine to deglaze but all the rest the same cracking recipe thanks for planting the idea in ones brain it's going be a regular Wednesday day what's left in the fridge use up day lol great stuff
Great video! Found your video when I was trying to figure out what to make from deep down in the freezer in America. My only request is to please leave the ingredients list and the cooking temp posting up for longer than the few seconds you featured it. It went by so fast!
Hi Adam I’m trying to clear out my freezer so I can defrost it so I tried this recipe but I replaced the sausages with shop bought meatballs and I swapped the peppers with carrots and it turned out quite nice except the meatballs went a bit dry but on the whole it was ey
@@Adam_Garratt have done this using white wine but a want to try it myself a thought using stock would make it sloppy and a carnt stand owt sloppy lol but the girls loved it with wine cheers for that 👍
Always go for expensive sausages and cheap veg, i would not have added the cider because id rather have it in a glass with the meal and have used some stock even if it was via a crumbley. If you use good sausages the "juice" they give out are so packed with flavour a bit of worcester sauce is all you need
Could you go over vegetable pairings for us? I'd love to do a sheet pan sausage meal but I'd like to change up the veggies I use each time. I'm not only looking for color ("no color / no flavor"), but I'm also looking to roast veggies that pair well with each other and that I can put some polish sausage with... HELP!!
All good root veggies will work just fine. Potato, parsnip, sweet potato, swede, celeriac, onions, turnips etc. You could add brocoli and cauliflower too nearer the end of cooking. You can add pretty much any veg you like
Omg, cooked this today and I must confess that the left over cider went down a treat whilst finishing of the dish. It was bang on and very tasty. I've made a few of your recipes now and would love to see you more regular on here . Keep up with the great tastes you share. I'll post a pic of my re-creation next time. Thanks Adam 👏🏼👍🏻😉
another lovely meal. what do you work as mate? if not intrusive. fair play to you for doing your daily grind but still sharing your skills with us in the evenings
Another smashingly fantastic easy meal! If one were to meal prep, all of it would be ready and just toss onto the sheet! Keep doing your amazing cooking thing you do so well! ~L 💖

Broccoli would be great. Just add it later as it cooks quicker.
@@Adam_Garratt thanks! Will do
Yum. Made it for dinner tonight. Hubz loved it.
Glad to hear it 😁
Just found your channel. What can we used instead of cider? Great video. The background music isn’t needed😊
Like that👍 simple and wholesome, thanks for sharing 👍😃

This is an old video. In my newer ones I now list all the ingredients in the description below. Cheers!
Making this on Tuesday Adam can’t wait 😁
Which cider though?
Any good cider will work. 😊
I cook stuff like this in uS all the time. At least 2 to 3 times a month.
Fab U Lus. Another winner dinner.
I have watched it and re-watched it and do not see or hear any information about HOW hot the oven should be. ?
Must have forgot to add that in. I'd go for 190c 170c for fan assisted
What is gas mark 7 in c or f?
Fantastic!
Thank you 🙂
@@Adam_Garratt I'm making it tonight! Wish me luck!!!👊
@@BTheTrue Hope it turns out well for you mate

Adam ... If you press in the top of your peppers, it releases the clump of seed with no waste of the pepper. It does 😉💞
I've been racking my brain for days as to what it is 😂🤦♂️
Hi Adam I’m trying to clear out my freezer so I can defrost it so I tried this recipe but I replaced the sausages with shop bought meatballs and I swapped the peppers with carrots and it turned out quite nice except the meatballs went a bit dry but on the whole it was ey
We're they homemade meatballs? A little tip if they are. Add a little milk and breadcrumbs to the mixture. Stops them trying out and being too dense
Unfortunately no they were a tray I bought from Morrison
@@patriciamckay384 they tend to be a bit rubbish I find. Usually just burger meat rolled into a ball and they dry out really quickly.
What can you use instead of cider adam none alcohol if possible his veggie stock ok
apple juice would be good or stock :)

Yes we are having it tomorrow for are tea I am out all day tomorrow so cooking it tonight then warm it up xx
Hi Adam we had this the other night so delish and tasty I put tomatoe and bacon sauce over xx
Nice one Lynne. Glad you liked it 🙂
Excellent!
What kind of cider is that ?
Finally got around to making this today. It was delicious!

Glad you like it pal! 🙂👍
Delicious simple as that, and I will prepare this!
You can always use a bit more sage!! hahah That looked AWESOME!

I'd say around gas mark 5 or 190c

What would you recommend replacing the peppers with? And what do you think about adding baby corn and maybe even carrots?
Anoobis you could replace the pepper with courgette. That would be be nice as they would soak up all the flavours. You could add carrot and corn yes
Anoobis I didnt have a pepper so I used some baby tomatoes. They were really sweet. Lovely
Making this for a second time tonight but I'm going to add butternut chunks this time. Happy 2020.
Oooh butternut would be awesome in this. Happy New year Paula 🙂
I always get mine from the butcher. Taste wonderful😋
Looks fantastic!! Making this tonight. I don’t have any cider but I have a nice big apple. 😅
That'll do! Enjoy 😁
@@Adam_Garratt what about non alcohol pear cider.. lol.. that's all I have.. I'm making it tonight for me and my 2 sons

Apple vinegar cider?
What temperature do i bake at and what type of cider did you use? Im trying this but not sure what ill do for the cider part
I would say about gas mark 5/190°C/375°F And any decent sweet cider will work great with this :)
scrappy Queen I used a fruit cider which I had in the fridge. It was very nice.
That looks delicious! And you make me laugh! You have such a great understated sense of humor and it's so fun to watch your videos!
C Morales Thank you buddy! Means a lot! 😊
This looks great, I can't wait to try it! Is there a different substitute you'd recommend to cider/wine?
You could leave it out and use a little lemon juice or balsamic if you like. 😊

Can anyone confirm if it’s hard cider or non alcoholic? They have different sugar content.
