Shields chained onto the wings and custom space bear doors would look cool. Could still have that productivity report. A techmarine looking examining a whiteboard full of data from the recent mission, lecturing some marines or chapter serfs
I cant wait to see them work on a gundam hangar with Mobile suits getting ready to launch I think that would be an absolutely awesome build. That or there own custom hangar with custom suits they've done.
Gotta say, you can really see that this is Jazza's passion. Your content on the main channel is still great, but you can see that it is a job. Whereas this is pure joy in manchild form :P
One thing that with the design would be a great addition would be a pilots ready room/briefing room, kind of like where Red and Gold squadron were briefed on the Death Star's vulnerability during A New Hope. One thing that could work well to tie the stormbird into the Space Bears would be something like nose art, perhaps turn around the Tau comment and have a painting of a bear mauling a tau on it. You might also take the various patterns used for trim on the conversion parts in order to be worked into various areas as painted trim.
I love how all the 40k TH-cam’s are building huge projects at the minute. Midwinter has his Titan, squidmar has his mantis, Eric’s hobby workshop has his scale imperial giant thingy. Love it

@@Gourdmann Well the Space Bear ranks are based on North American Bears, Black Bears seem to be the main force, then brown for Commanders. Grizzlies do come in various subspecies too, so a creamy or grey bear would work as well. Not sure about the polar bear, which is found in colder regions like Canada and Alaska, maybe they could be the Chaplains?
For the outside of the stormbird; I like the house idea so a house to a bear is a cave->stones->campfire/reentery soot markings - >maybe cavepainting of previous battles. And I like the idea of the bear head, but maybe focus more on the fangs then the ears 😋 GOOD LUCK!!!
If you do a cutaway display, grab a Bandai Star Wars Y-Wing 1/72 model kit and use the engines and body of the Y-Wing for parts for partially assembled engines and sub-frame assemblies. Kit bash this bird!

To model a clear bear face would be a bit much BUUUT to use some additional armor plating to vaguely resemble the form of a bear with fangs could look pretty good.

Custom guard would add complexity, but y'all clearly don't mind. Edit: Also according to a quick and lazy google search the Ojibwe word for "The Great Bird" is "Binesi" which sounds neat for a flying vehicle of this calibre.
To decorate it, I'd go a mix of Drakkar and native-american... Flying Totem! With... rows! No, I mean shields! Also... The bear face cannot be unseen! Run with it!

#bearforcepun you can not set fur on the stormbird but the techmarin think hard and discover that the metal on the hull or the wing can be scult (reforge to a specifique scheme) into bear fur. And you can add fang to the door. Like there here to take firmly into the ground(attach temself to the ground) like an siege tower in medival games. Sorry for my poor english. If I may insert an idea for stormberg design: put shields on the sides like a Viking longboat. Or have paintings of bears or “stories” on the side like Native Americans, seeing the more Native American iconography being present in most of the figures made thus far
I know it's way past the time, But I think you should have put some of the larger shields from the bust Onto the wings of this thing Hollowed out the center of those Shields And mounted void Shield generators from titans or imperial knights in that hollowed out spot

Ok so. I'm not that good at art, so I can't make an actual drawing of this, but how about some form of viking longboat inspiration? Like, shields hanging at the sides (maybe from dead Marines since you give them shields and that's a bit more grim I guess) and maybe printing or resin molding a few more wings for that show of a hell of a lot of oars from the side. Idk, you aren't going for a real Space Wolf viking thing, but I just think it could be dope.
