I agree with Miles and Scott, no need to apologize as your videos are super great. Your sharing them is also super inspiring too. Ok, so some constructive feedback. Not sure if Gorilla Tape will work with the acetone and as that stuff is super powerful it might just end up being a mess, but for other applications, especially electrical, check out the new Gorilla Tape. This wing update is super useful. The detail and your workmanship shows and will yield great results in the end. Your approach is so genuine and real-world man in his garage makes the videos come across as both insightful as well as inspiring as, yeah I can do that, step by step. I want to express how cool your build videos are and you have a lot of guys rooting for you and looking forward to this aircraft getting airborne. Additionally, it would be great to see you crush Trent in the STOL races @ deadCow and some of the other places you guys have competed. Perhaps you might be able to enhance your wing construction with VG's and some of the add-on features that the STi wing has as you know the aerodynamics have been tested. The flying you did in backcountry Idaho was amazing by the way. It will be really interesting to see this aircraft come together as I recall you're installing the snow machine engine, yes?

Your videos are excellent, brother, as you are very detail oriented in your work, and explanations of said work, which I appreciate greatly! I recently got a KF Mod IV (Speedster) so the vids have been very informative … was hoping to see something on how you leveled the wings and figured out the front pin placement hole in the front spar (that's where I'm at right now) … lemme know if I missed that vid! Great technical content for the wing construction. Just curious, what part of the build are you feeling is going to be the biggest hurdle? Keep having fun in between otherwise you lose sight of why you're doing it in the first place. And most important - don't rush it.

Hey Brian, did you drill the attachment holes in the spar that connect the wing spar to the carry through tubes? I checked episode 2 and it does not look like the kit you had purchased had the pre rigging option completed.
Flox are cotton fibers and are added to adhesives (Hysol) as a thickener and strengthener. When you join two dissimilar metals, you add micro balloons, which are small silicon or glass beads that prevent all the adhesive being compressed away when clamping. From what I understand, micro balloons do not add structural strength like flox does. I do not believe that either additive have an effect on corrosion. Although using micro balloons would help keep a thin layer of adhesive intact, which may help prevent corrosion.
Hey there! Got one question, youre saying that the wings are not level, so how much higher are they from the center to the outer end? Or where can i find that info. I am fixing a kitfox 7 but cant find how to adjust the height.
So that would be covered under the wing construction section where you attach the wing to the fuselage. then the wing strut length is going to determine the dihedral.

The guy I bought the kit from had done that already.
I don't see any video of how you added the trailing edge. Do you have video of that?
Just a mention of it at 21:50 in episode 8. The trailing edge is factory installed on the quick build wing, accept behind the fuel tank.

So does Kitfox layout the aircraft in water lines and fuselage stations in their drawings?
is fiberglass compatible with gasoline? read some article where the fiberglass will separate inside the fuel tank. nice vid also.
Kitfox makes the fuel tanks with fuel and ethanol resistant fiberglass resin.

No you use fresh acetone each flush, I saved the acetone to use for other purposes like cleaning before welding.
