For this particular porsche I believe 2010 and up with sport plus or turbo you need to fill the air tank (air suspension accumulator) with nitrogen 5 (nitrogen gas) only for the sport plus performance when you drive over 100 miles per hour or force the car to maximum horsepower the gas will keep suspension ride tight and a fast acceleration suspension adjust that’s the factory purpose of this system and yes you can mix it with the normal air that compressor builds . This is only for high performance driving .. if you driving below 100mph or at normal highway drive in comfort mode or sport mode no need nitrogen5 car can be driving perfectly fine with atmospheric air pressure.
Reviewing this again....Really informative and good detail....Q...On the nitrogen....where can you locate the pressure gauges to control the pressure when re-filling the system..???
Very informative… Q..why is Nitrogen gas used .. other than C02..? Where can Nitrogen gas be purchased…and the gauges that regulate and measure the Nitrogen pressure..??
Hi I like your video I have a similar problem with my air shocks front right it's leaking from the top I'm getting a replacement all I need to know which I'm following your footsteps does the front two wheels need to be off the ground because I'm working from the ground not with hydraulic lift and also can I raise the car from the compressor itself from regular air from the atmosphere will it raise the front right as I finish the job keep me posted please and let me have your feedback I appreciate it thank you
What I'm saying is can I get it done without putting in the nitrogen and let it work with the natural air in the compressor???? Until I get nitrogen and get it done by you 😂
I have asked around all shops about the nitrogen air and they always tell me that the compressor is what puts the air in ? So why does nitrogen have to be added ?
@@E39M5SPEED service manual says you need to bleed the air suspension into the accumulator, then fill it again once the job is done (using a scan tool). I'm not sure why you guys are doing this nitrogen stuff
@@E39M5SPEEDyes but using a scan tool you can bleed the nitrogen from the strut to the accumulator, replace the strut then fill it again using the scan tool. which will use nitrogen from the acumulator
@@E39M5SPEEDI should add that what I said above is when replacing a part with no prior leaks. if the system was leaking before then yeah I agree it should be refilled with G5 N2.
Buddy. I get home at 9pm. I leave for work at 6am. I barely have time to upload these videos. So editing them to make them pretty for you is impossible. Be thankful they are even out to show you people how to work on these cars yourself.
Hello, I am trying to find the pdf file with the instructions. Could you share some info so I can buy it or download it? Also I looked at the autologic scan tool. Are there similar scanners that work in a similar way to do this repair?
@E39M5SPEED can you explain how the nitrogen will stay in the system? When the suspension lowers isn't the air expelled to atmosphere? Air then has to be brought in to replace it. If there was a leak, the nitrogen would be gone and the suspension would not be able to raise. Cars with leaking struts will raise after starting so it doesnt seem logical that the system is closed and must be filled with nitrogen.

Whats the price range to add nitrogen on a 2011 Porsche panamera turbo? Thanks in advance

Nitrogen 5 fill only. Only use OE parts. Not made in china crap.

what brand tool do you use to put the nitrogen in the shock and what type nitrogen do you use!
N 5
Tool is custom.
Is the order of work in this video edited in reverse order?
No order. At all.

You need all data. Or auto logic.
where is the compressor located?
If I remember correctly it’s underneath the car close to Passenger side right by the N2 tank reserve.
Is it a must to use nitrogen?
