Isn't great to give to others. I love teaching our children to give. Our church does the boxes and also a angel tree for local community. I feel blessed as I am sure you do that we can give a little this year. So many in need it breaks my momma heart sometimes

Thank you so much for taking the time to watch, Rebecca. I have shown my children’s faces for years on Instagram (I have been on IG over a decade as well before it was a big thing). I’ve also used their names. If I could go back a decade ago, I would have done things differently. This is just based on my personal experience being a public person online. But a few years ago I drew a boundary to at least not have them in the videos very much to protect some of their privacy. I have friends who do have their children in their videos and they are comfortable with that. I think each family has to make these decisions for themselves. I’ve just had a few too many crazy online situations.

Love it! Our church packed up over 100 boxes. We had over 70 delivered to the church the Sunday before collection week. My girls were excited to pack the ones we filled then as a family we helped our coordinator and a few others check through all the boxes to make sure nothing was included that’s not allowed and pack up boxes with miscellaneous supplies that were donated. The coordinator then delivered the boxes and with money left over after covering the suggested shipping he went online and “packed” boxes on the website.
Another lady in our little church coordinates us with providing Christmas for several local families. We buy gifts and an outfit for each child in the families as well as paper and hygiene products and gift cards to local grocery stores to buy food that their family likes.
This video was awesome. It reminded me when my daughter and I used to go shopping together. Now she's 40 and lives in Georgia. I miss her so!! You look so pretty Ms. Jamerrill. Can't wait for the next video to see what all you got. Hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving. God Bless!!

I do the Samaritan’s Purse shoe boxes! Sometimes Dollar Tree has new testaments. I hear a deflated soccer ball with a pump are a great thing to put in.
My daughter and I filled 2 boxes this year. It was our first time doing it. I didn't know you could do bigger boxes. It was tough stuffing everything into the shoebox size. Thinking we may have gone overboard, but made it work!! We saw there was an option to fill a box online. I think we are going to do that next year. I hope our choices we made are useful for the children recieving them. We loved doing it, but it was a little tough after we were told nothing with instructions in English because the children wouldn't be able to read them. I can't wait to see what was in yours. Maybe that will make me more confident in our choices.
Our church filled 480 boxes this year! A very successful option was for folks to donate money so the organizers could do the shopping...perfect for those like yours truly who doesn't have enough imagination to make it cute but practical.
I typically double the width of the window so they look full. Rods should be 4"-6" beyond the window on each side. I love that you took your daughter with you. What a wonderful outing.
It's nice to see the stores, we don't have stores where we live in rural Alaska Iike that, but thankful for amazon!! We live on a Island so flying is the only option. Pretty amazing prices!

Yes spent yesterday there got lots of gingerbread items alot of them under 5 dollars. I'm putting the light up gingerbread house and the gingerbread tall guys on my Christmas list
You are such a kind caring lady Jamerill I’m sure those children that receive those boxes will be so happy bless them,here in the uk we have what’s called the giving tree where at the local shopping Center there’s a huge Christmas tree with tags on and each tag has a gift item wanted by a child in care or from a poor family and you take the tag buy the gift and return the gift to the tree with the tag and the gift gets wrapped and delivered to the child at Christmas,I like to buy a few gifts for our local tree xx
When choosing a curtain pole you should get one with 6inchs extra both ends,so when the curtains are pulled back they are against the wall and don't hang over the window A. Blocking the light and B. Making the window look small and pokey. (My mum used to be a curtain seamstress 😁
I am definitely loving the comfy looking blankets and pillows at Big Lots! I need to go get some of those cute gift sets for my kiddos! I am going for more useful gifts this year instead of toys they only use for a bit. Also, the curtains you got will work perfect! Better to go bigger than to small. I like the bakeware at Costco too. I watch these videos and get so many great ideas!

I always explain to the kids that it’s good for them to pick out toys and items for kids who have families that need some help. I grew up in a family that needed help and never received it. So it is good to help the mamas who need a little help, not just this time of year, but year round. I won’t be shopping for that group of moms this year in the stores. But we did give in that organization’s direction so they could do gift cards and things for those moms. Thank you, Karen! 💕💕💕

I have that knee pillow. It's definitely nice, I missed it when my kid decided to hide it under the bed. During that time, I just used a regular pillow, which was too large IMO. I am a side sleeper, so if I don't use something between my knees, my back feels it.

I laugh as you say that it is early in the day, only 2. To me that is not early in the day...I rise around 4ish and go to bed around 7 in the evening. So by 2, I am starting to wind down. Funny how all of our concepts are. 😉
I’m giving my mail carrier a gift card to a grocery store….that poor lady has to carry heavy boxes to my porch. Always protects my packages and she puts them right at my door…..she’s our regular mail person and has a lot of boxes etc during this season……👍

The OCC cardboard boxes are great to use, they pack nicely in the shipping boxes they use to send to their final destination.
