Pomposo concierto de Hoffmeister en el mejor estilo de los compuestos en la segunda mitad del siglo XVIII. La obra de este gran maestro de la música, en general, es grandiosa y muy digna de ser escuchada. Gracias por presentarlo!

Seine Musik wird offenbar unterschätzt. So sind die Streichquartette wunderschön. Ich habe bis heute nicht nichts von ihm gewusst, zu meiner Schande.

@@maxfochtmann9576 Das ist eben die Tragik, man kennt nur einige wenige "Klassiker", und das genügt den Meisten. Das Schöne ist, daß man hier, in You Tube, die Möglichkeit hat, soviel wunderschöne Musikstücke kennen zu lernen, die ansonsten leider praktisch nie aufgeführt werden. Viele dieser Kompositeure kann man gleichberechtigt den bekannten Klassikern an die Seite stellen.

I just came across a lone CD of this composer's work (three flute Concertos) yesterday, and I am so glad I purchased it. Never having heard his music before, I was delighted with the beauty of his works. So glad to have discovered him!!

Actually, on his Wikipedia page it says he wrote 25 flute concertos, and several chamber pieces featuring flute.

The Baroque epoch gave the world so many magnificent composers that a modern person does not have enough life to listen to all the music they wrote. This composer was probably the last to write baroque music.
