@raincoleman6305 - thank you for watching her story. We hope to do an updated interview with her soon. She is now doing well and we know she has an important story to tell about her early experiences in the system. Thanks again!
I agree my vision is bad and I would be walking into things all the time or people would think I’m trying to look at them sideways but in reality I can’t see $hit.
The mom is a heartless piece of crap. She threw her OWN daughter under the bus instead of being a parent. She has an unnecessary criminal record over this. The mom should be in jail instead of her daughter.
That mother has no choice. That kid has zero respect and has a very cocky and disrespectful attitude. I personally got so irritated by her as a father I would've made the same damn choice.
I was that cocky nobody can tell me nothing kid at one point. I went to juvenile detention.... Adult jail... And then adult prison... She needed something. She was never told NO.
This young lady can do it , get all the services and help that’s offered to you , get that GED , leave the drugs alone and I’m talking about weed , people seem to think that it’s not a drug , as well as the alcohol , and find out what you’d like to become and go to school, please no more kids right now

Police Can Detain Runaways Running away is generally not a crime, but it is a status offense in some states. Regardless of whether a particular state recognizes running away as a status offense, police can always take runaways into custody. The options available to police include: returning them home convincing their parents or guardians to temporarily let them stay with friends or family taking them to a shelter for runaways, or briefly holding them at a juvenile detention facility. Parents or legal guardians can report a runaway to the police at any time. Federal Law prohibits any law enforcement agency from establishing a waiting period before accepting a runaway-child report. Police enter the runaway's name and physical description into the National Crime Information Computer (NCIC).

Wow that is harsh you can't even wear your own glasses. Then they need to get better scissors in there because they know people come in there with braids and weaves. She's a beautiful young lady. I pray that everything works out when she does get out
Seriously, those scissors ✂️ are punishing! I’m pretty sure anybody would choose to be handcuffed again while getting their hair cut off if it’s a “safety issue”!
I actually feel sorry for this girl , yes she messed up but she's young and hadn't killed anyone . And as for her mother she should take a reality check and ask herself why her daughter chose to stay with her godmother. Boohoohoo! You make choices, you get to live with the consequences. "I'm still a kid"????? Time to grow the HECK up, girlie. YOUR CHILD COMES FIRST FROM NOW ON - PERIOD!!!!!!
It is sad.. I hope she does better in the future.. You know, it's real easy kids, and I told my daughter and thank god she listened. You can't have kids out of a relationship or marriage. Especially when you're a kid already yourself. Having kids is like a bomb.
