Good job, Pls i have a problem with mine. After fixing it the key stop bouncing when i want to star the car. I mean the key should return when starting the car but the one refuced. Pls, is it the ignition or the fibre?
Great i want to ask a question . what if i did the same connection but i placed the ignition inside the immoblizer (black part) without placing them inside the metal part behind thw steering wheel . will the immoblizer work? will the car start? thanks in advance
Good job Mate!! What exactly was the initial problem? I mean did you replace the cabling as a solution for the ignition didnt worked? Did you have signs when you turned the Key but Still the ignition didnt worked? I am facing a problem like this one in your video. When i turn the Key at the First scale, i am having signs but i cant start the motor. It dosent do anything when i am turning the key at the second scale.
My problem was it didn't start now and then. The new ignition did not fix the problem, it was something with the immobilizer, so I sold the car to a guy who wanted it for spareparts.

Check that the imobilizer ring is correct installed on the new ignition. I forgot that and it won't start. After installing the ring back it started on first try. Look here: 19:50
Thank you for reply, I found solution! First I try new ignition switch with new key and with that imobilizer ring, but no luck (won't start). Then I cut new key shell fob and replace with old one shell wich have remote lock.. Then with new key on old remote I go for reset remote control (hold on button 10sec in ignition lock) and now works !! :):):)

@@Italjohn thanks for the answer, so no matter what you changed, there was still a problem ?because it happens to me when the car is warm, when it is cold it starts without a problem, do you think it's a problem with the key code or?
because it starts on me and immediately shuts off the engine as if I turned it off on the key, if I keep the key longer it stays on and works without problems
I finally managed to do this, it started first time like it did for you, but the second time it never started again the immobiliser wouldn't let the engine start again!

Is there a way to buy the lock cylinder only and replace it , and not the switch ?

My car didn't start when warm. Change the lock, but same problem. I did sell the car as scrap. You seem to have an imobilizer problem.

the diagnostics show nothing
If you hold the key and it works, it could be a lock problem.
Where are you based and do you take car's in to fix them?

Interesting tutorial! I think I have another problem with my Peugeot. Starts but stops the engine in 2 seconds ...
That's typically if there is something wrong with the immobiliser. You need to have the error coded read out.

To change the lock you need a mechanic.
